Looks like according to iMDb Sam will be playing Dean Boshell in the new BBB2 film - based on a real life person I think. Which means his character will likely be killed off in a bloody way as what happened to the real life person during the book - based on real life events.
I probably won't watch the film if Sam Strike's character is going to be killed in such a way. ![]() ![]() Additionally by googling the real life Dean Boshell I hope Sam Strike is keeping his hair. Not to be insensitive, but Sam Strike has lovely, amazing hair and it would be silly of him to shave his head for a straight to DVD film. Edit: I don't mean to sound insensitive or selfish at all and apologies if I have offended. I just love Sam and wish him the best.

In relation to my previous post: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt4334642/?ref_=nm_flmg_act_1
I'll be torn on whether to watch the film as I have mentioned a few times - I wanna see how Sam Strike is and him portraying a character who gets in too deep with gangs, but at the same time I don't wanna see his character get hurt. If I was just a fan and didn't have such a crush on him following his stint on EastEnders I'd definitely watch it. |

It does say the 17th, it's in a small font just underneath the tweet itself - posted at 4.41pm on Jan 17th.

That's very odd. On mine it says 12:14AM 18 Jan 2014. We'll find out this weekend if he tweets about it

It's Sam's birthday today! Happy Birthday Sam! (*blows party whistle-thing and pops champagne*). Hope he's doing something big to celebrate his big day, 21 is a big milestone! Hope he's spoiled rotten by all those close to him, you only turn 21 once!
Still missing Johnny very much on EastEnders! Can't believe it'll be soon a month since his on-screen departure! Things have been very dark for the Carters since Christmas Day, it really felt like Johnny's departure was the end of an era for the Carters family and the start of a grittier, less pleasant era for them, once the secret of what Dean did to Linda in October came out. |

Looks like according to iMDb the release date for Bonding By Blood 2 is Boxing Day this year (as in 2015).
If I'm still madly in love with Sam Strike by then I probably won't watch the film - or I'd be very torn about watching it. If I respect him and my crush goes away by then then I'll watch it as to follow his career. I feel as though after being inspired by Johnny and Johnny's storyline on EastEnders to come out and how much better I've felt and my life has been since, I feel I owe it to Sam to watch BBB2 regardless. |

I really don't like these type of movies but I guess I can fast forward to the Sam bits and avoid all the violent stuff . I am looking forward to see how Sam gets on and I am sure he will be fantastic. It is going to be weird.seeing him in such a different role swearing, violent and a potential death of his character. Do you think there will be any sex scenes for Sam: ![]()

I am assuming it is a DVD release with no cinema release (or maybe a very limited showing in October/November as was this case with the first film

Do you think there will be any sex scenes for Sam: ![]() ![]() Yeah I don't think Sam's character will necessarily be violent, though I don't know this for sure. Snorting drugs probably (another reason for me not wanting to watch), based on the book and how often characters in the first Bonded By Blood film were snorting cocaine. But the real life Dean Boshell was killed or found dead in a bloody way so I'm assuming they'll show that in this film - so there will be a grim death scene with Sam's character. I think Sam will pull it off and do really well - I think if there's an innocence with this character the audience might feel some sympathy or feel aligned to his character. And yes he'll probably be swearing a lot too. I think Dean Boshell in the book is a bit of a player character with various and sometimes multiple girlfriends, so it is a possibility. I don't know if this is a major part of the character though - depends on how long the film is, if its an hour and a half like the first film then unlikely but not out of the question. |

We can't expect them to keep doing it but it was nice that the writers added a line about Johnny phoning his Dad on his birthday.
With Linda going to the police about the rape and then telling Lee and Nancy what will they do with Johnny? Will he be told but then why would he not come back straight away or will Linda order the rest of the family not to tell Johnny I don't think they'll tell Johnny about the rape. There would be no real point. If Linda wants to tell him at some point it would probably be face to face, not over the phone. Plus hiding the rape from Johnny was the reason she was so eager for him to leave in the first place. Nonetheless, it will be interesting to see if anyone brings this question up in Thursday's episode. |

Never mind - going by his recent tweets looks like he's not there.
On a sidenote, he looks buff! He's definitely been working out ![]() https://twitter.com/SamStrike/status/557968351516196865 |

Well, they mentioned Johnny & Luca in Mick's birthday episode (19 Jan); apparently they called Mick and sang him a Happy Birthday duet.

I did miss Johnny as part of the Carter family in the EE episode tonight as the kids were told about Linda's rape and trying to help each other out and deal with this ordeal together as a family. It would be have been interesting to see how Johnny reacted in comparison with Lee and Nancy and I would loved to have seen a scene between Johnny and Linda
As expected Johnny won't be told about the rape yet. Wonder when they will get round to telling him and then come up with reason why he did not from his holiday to see his mum. |
