Looking ahead to Wed 11th Feb, there's an England International Friendly match on ITV1. It's an 8pm kick off so Digiguide currently has the following schedule :

18:30 ITV Evening News
18:45 Emmerdale
19:15 Coronation Street
19:45 International Football : Spain v England
22:00 News at Ten
22:35 International Football Highlights
That's interesting. I'm surprised they never did this:

19:00 - Emmerdale
19:30 - Football
22:00 - NaT
22:35 - Football Highlights

Based on the current schedule, that is a risky move in my view. I think this would be better:

17:30 - Local News
18:00 - ITV Evening News
18:30 - International Football: Buildup
18:55 - Emmerdale
19:23 - Coronation Street
19:47 - International Football: Live
22:00 - News @ Ten

Next Robbie will be claiming that the BBC never went for the safe option of showing Man Utd in primetime as part of their FA Cup coverage

PS If things stand I would expect the ITV replay on Wed week to be Aston Villa vs Doncaster.

No, I'm just turning the tables on all those who used to bleat on here about the BBC always going for the safe option of showing Man Utd in primetime as part of their FA Cup coverage...

Doncaster away to a Premiership club on primetime ITV1? Yeah right...

If Burnley get equaliser away to West Brom that we so richly deserve, then maybe that would be a better choice?

Or Blackburn v Sunderland?

And we have!!!!!

That's got to be ITV1's choice for the replay coverage, surely? Premier League club away to the giant-killing Championship club?

Blackburn - Sunderland : two mediocre premier league teams

West Brom - Burnley - no supporters = no viewers

Has to be Aston Villa (big 4 team) vs plucky lower league opposition

You obviously know very little about football....

Doncaster v Villa, certainly - but not away from home.

A bit early to be predicting, two more games tomorrow.

If Liverpool v Everton ends in a draw I think we can confidently say that will be the replay.

Having just watched Doncaster vs Villa, Villa are no shoe in's for the replay.

Yep, don't disagree with that. Forgotten about that one in the excitement of the Clarets earning a replay...

Since when were Villa clasified in the big 4 exactly? So, who's dropped out while I wasn't looking?

Just curious, would the police allow a Liverpool v Everton match to take place at 8pm on a Wednesday?

Are you posting from the ground, or do you work for ITV Sport?

A few ratings observations:

Pretty poor for CBB - the franchise really appears to be running out of steam and this year's main series could be crucial

NICS - This show has been a real ratings grower - Channel 5 need to see if there are any other US franchises like CSI and NICS which they can use at 9pm to good effect - perhaps they could advertise Criminal Minds a bit more and give that a 9pm slot during the week?

BBC1pm news - constantly gets around 3m viewers - excellent ratings for daytime

The ITV replay will for certain be Everton v Liverpool or Spurs v Man Utd if either game is drawn.

If neither are drawn the reality is there are no other games really big enough for ITV1 prime-time. I suspect though that it would have to be Burnley v West Brom. But any game other than Everton v Liverpool or Spurs v Man Utd will get very poor ratings.

Evereton v Liverpool is bound to be the pick if there is a winner during the United v Spurs game. If those two draw the then the lure of United may be too much for ITV

Yes, it's a toss-up if both are drawn but that's fairly unlikely.

According to Final Score, Burnley v West Brom will be on Tuesday - the other three replays so far (Notts Forest v Derby, Blackburn v Sunderland, Aston Villa v Doncaster) on Wednesday so it seems unlikely that the Turf Moor match'll be aired on ITV1 now.

The best chance ITV1 has is if Liverpool v Everton is a draw tomorrow, giving them the opportunity to air the Goodison Park replay. Otherwise...Arsenal v Cardiff'd be good if that's a tie - out of the confirmed replays I'd plump for Villa v Doncaster.

EDIT: I can't see them airing the Spurs v Man U replay as they broadcast the first match. However, if Liverpool and Arsenal join Chelsea in the fifth round at the first attempt they may go for it anyway.

Were Man Utd chosen in the 3rd Round?

For gods sake, are you serious Robbie?
You're just wasting your breath...bleating on about how ITV are so inferior to the BBC. It's only choosing games, it's not the end of the world.

Replay dates can be changed if picked for TV.

If ITV want Burnley v West Brom they will pick it.

If Man Utd draw and the Liverpool game produces a winner, Man Utd will be picked for 100% certain.

Spurs v Man Utd is a massively more attractive game for TV than Arsenal v Cardiff or any of the replays we already know about.

They won't care about showing the same game twice - all that matters is which game will get higher ratings.

Man U have played several dead rubbers in the Champs League & they will always get the ITV1 nod of approval over the likes of Arsenal.
