Just looking through the ITV Press Office, this is one of the worst scheduling decisions I've seen.

Why schedule a hospital related programme against Holby City?!!

Also, this new series, "The Feel Good Factor" sounds like utter trash to be quite frank.

Not great work though. BBC1 needs a competitive ITV1 in order to be pushed. Last January showed a great example of BBC1 not being pushed - just airing New Tricks repeats during winter primetime.

In fairness, the 8pm Tuesday slot is obviously just being used as a filler, where all suspected flops are being placed to get them out of the way. At least with the likes of Stockwell, Total Emergency, Piers on..., Doctors and Nurses at War and the regular Tonight slot ITV1 are trying out documentaries, which sound better than some of the rubbish they were bringing out last year. Shame they're a disaster ratings wise, because they deserve better.

The Feelgood Factor could be a good show marketed properly. But then ITV and marketing don't always go together well.

Surely the fact that The Feelgood Factor is packed with people from Coronation Steet and Emmerdale just reinforces the perception that it will be downmarket.

It's almost as if it's just a cross-promotion for the soaps.

Why dont ITV stick with WWTBAM in the Tue 8pm slot! it the only thing that does well!

This sounds like an interesting series, poised for the Sunday 9pm slot. If Stephen Fry can do it, Trevor can.

Its Burns Night and BBC1 Scotland have a one hour spoof comedy starring Ashley Jenson - it'll get more than 500,000 viewers dont worry.

No, in reality, it is cheap and nasty television that is made in order to save money on scripted television shows.

No doubt these asinine shows have their fans, but they are a critical detriment to television.

ITV seemed to win daytime yesterday which is quite rare for them on a Saturday, but then a lot of their peaktime schedule was lower than usual. Both football matches pulled in a decent audience, but TV Burp seems to do better with a YBF lead in, rather than a football lead in (and was the football running late?? Maybe a factor in TV Burp's relatively poor figure?). Demons continues to drop, but I wouldn't give up on it ending just yet, because ITV seem to be very fond of it and Moving Wallpaper got recomissioned despite falling to 1.7m, so anything can happen. Millionaire pulled in a decent figure and ITV News was very close to BBC News.

I'm unsure about how The Feelgood Factor will perform. When I first heard about it I thought it sounded like a huge hit, but after seeing the sypnosis and slot I'm unsure. Though, ITV will be very strong in a few weeks time when Primeval & A&D return. It just feels like Saturday night viewers are crying out for these shows to return- a decent family drama & a popular entertainment show at the centre of primetime.

Decent night for BBC1 with Total Wipeout and Eurovision fairly solid now and Lottery & Casualty continuing to pull in the viewers reliably on a Saturday night.

Good night for BBC2 and FIVE with their factual/US nights. CSI:NY back up which is good to see.

Demons has fallen again. I thought Harry Hill being on before it would help benefit the show and atleast keep it in the 4 million range.. I wonder if it will keep falling or if it'll stay stable, just under 4 million viewers now? To be honest, I can't see it getting recommissioned.

Eurovision seems to be holding a steady audience, whilst Casualty and In It To Win It carry on doing good business.

ITV did OK yesterday.... but remove The FA Cup, and you're looking at mostly >4m for most of peaktime, which obviously isn't a good thing. The only time ITV look really stable ratings wise at the weekends is Saturday's on the run up to Xmas and Sunday's after the New Year.

The remainder of the time they are in no mans land. As I've said time and time again [and so have others admittedly], once DOI and WAH finish, the Sunday shares are likely to be under 15% most of the time, and possibly < 10%.

Demons did very badly last night; its fourth consecutive drop. I can't see it coming back now unless the 16-34 and ABC1 audiences are brilliant, which I doubt.

TV Burp seems lower than usual, although it should do better next week with the YBF lead in, and it being back to new episodes. I can see The Feelgood Factor flopping badly.

Not good enough for Australian Open. It seems only the British public enjoy watching Wimbledon. Tennis beaten by Bowls in raw figures and share, in a later slot. Good evening showings for Casualty & National Lottery, topping the day. Outtake TV isn't performing well as filler on primetime Saturday night TV. Total Wipeout is holding its audience after the initial drop in its early slot.

Good evening for BBC2 with Dad's Army consistently above 2m while a Victorian Farm repeat manages 2m, taking the total audience to around 5.5m (including some iPlayer views).

Good lunchtime share for ITV1 with the FA Cup, denting BBC1's sport a little. However, Demons just isn't good enough and I have not been interested in the last 2 episodes whilst the first 2 were watchable. United v Spurs got a very good share, but Harry Hill seems around 0.5m down on last week. The FA Cup highlights had no competition in Match of the Day but still lost out to BBC1.

Another poor night for C4, although Five performed OK- CSI: New York was the high point which came 3rd in its slot. Law & Order didn't hold much of its audience but Five almost managed above 1m all night.

Demons just doesn't seem like Saturday night primetime material to me. The content is too much for young children, but then are adults really going to watch something that seems to be marketed at children?

A slot which I think it would work excellently in is Sunday 9pm on ITV2 (in a similar vein to Supernatural). Repeats are getting 0.6m, so I would say new episodes would get between 1-1.5m which would be excellent for ITV2, but I doubt they have that sort of money to spend on something like Demons.

Australian Open got 12% on BBC2.
Bowling got 10% on BBC1.

Austrlian Open was seen live on BBC2 by 0.8m and the highlights on BBC1 by 0.8m, making 1.6m in total.

Bowling got 1.1m on BBC1.

If the bowling was live that early in the morning on BBC2, followed by highlights on BBC1 and the Tennis was live in the afternoon on BBC1 the gap would be even bigger.
