Wow- thanks for that info. This must be the BBC's biggest new entertainment hit since Strictly Come Dancing!

That's huge for Let's Dance!

I fear for Harry Hill.

Same here. I wonder what Total Wipeout got given that was on directly before the dance thing.

I think someone predicted that there would be a large switch from the end of the footie to LetsDance. Seems that may have been about right, leaving TW and HH with the scraps?

Neil's just posted Friday's ratings so Saturday's should be along soon...

It's certainly a good, entertaining show - even if it is a bit rubbish too.

If it really did average 8.1m, then that's excellent and surely guarantees it will be returning.

And that ITV's version will be quick out of the blocks too.

Bodes well for the Comic Relief show on Friday and the specials on Thursday night too. BBC1 should have a storming Thursday, Friday and Saturday and wipe the floor with ITV1 across those 3 days.

0.9m for Pushing Daisies. Blimey.

Has ITV ever gone as low as 0.9m for anything in primetime before?

Even in the 1950s?

Celebs Dance for ITV Relief?

Looks like ITV was second-last and last between 9-11pm on Friday. Pushing Diasies under 1m - ratings will be even more awful next week when it's up against Comic Relief !

Atroicious for Daisies really.
When Saturday's are done, can someone type them out in full on here?

Christ on a bike. That's bad for PD.

If we want to find out, we must hope that Agents Grade and Fincham stick to their guns and are not persuaded to stick a Frost repeat on instead.

Hold your nerve gents...!

Probably not - but is 10-11 pm primetime?

PD is a very acquired taste, and its second season bombed horrendously in the US too - hence its swift cancellation and indications that the three episodes which ABC there have not yet aired (and is contracturally obliged to) will in fact be shoved out online. At one time, it looked as though ITV would air these before any US airing, but that must be very doubtful now.

Amazing to think that not much more than a year ago PD got a Radio Times front cover and Anna Friel was described as the star of "one of America's biggest new hits" - that all today seems as out-dated as the guff about Michelle Ryan's career taking off Stateside because of the "smash hit" Bionic Woman, which of course was only a hit for its first episode on either side of the Atlantic.

0 ? Might not even be on air next week with those kind of ratings.

On a brighter note for ITV1, Holly's breasts look amazing tonight. Should bode well for DOI keeping hold of its audience tonight.

I'm certainly keeping a firm grip..

I don't think they even feel that low when they had a 13 week all-out strike in the 1970's. (Although there were only 3 channels in those days and the other two were BBC1 and BBC2)

Well, NaT is returning next Friday @ 10, will be interesting to see if it breaks the 1m barrier.

BBC One and Five really benefitted from the weak ITV1 opposition with their best numbers. NCIS is doing wonders for Five nearly doing CSI numbers and I suspect it could hit 3m the week after next if MW and AMMPD drop further.

Channel 4 did good with Kitchen Nightmare USA and APITS and BBC Two did okay with Natural World and Rocket Science.

Numb3rs did doing okay for Five but it's not holding onto the NCIS lead in very well.

Yes, I think that's ITV's definition of primetime anyway.

I've been watching PD since the start and enjoying it, but I didn't watch on Friday cos I didn't feel like it and I may not watch again, especially if there's not going to be a tidy ending.

I think actually they did sink below 1m once before the other year with a flop 10pm show, which name escapes me.
