With BBC1 effectively opting out tomorrow night with repeats, I wonder if there will be a record rating for DOI? The top reality shows usually find two or three million extra viewers for final night-any thoughts?

BBC1 have opted out the last couple of weeks with repeats - ever since Lark Rise finished. I guess Dancing on Ice will get around 12m - great figures, but BBC1'll hold up well nonetheless. I'm more intrigued with the 9pm battle. ITV1 have both the lead in and the pedigree with Lewis, so it'll be interesting to see how No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency is affected, as it's the first 'head to head' battle it's had.

Didn't Lark Rise only finish on Sunday?

I thought it was two Sunday's ago for some reason, but you're right, I just checked. Antiques Roadshow has been on repeats for the last few weeks, but Lark Rise did only finish last Sunday.

I missed the England game but I'm not too fussed. The big one was always Wales v Ireland and it didn't disappoint.

It was a great game. The Grand Slam came down to the final kick.

It'll be really interesting to see the ratings tomorrow. ITV had Harry Hill starting at half time of Wales-Ireland, but I can see the Rugby beating Colour of Money. Ant and Dec may have had a slight advantage before BBC1 takes the rest of the night.

JLC should be on a different day, against skins it's not gonna do well. Maybe move it to Fridays, when the only competition is al murray on itv and whatever the beeb's got lined up after QI and promote it during Alan's up-coming show on 4. There again, it may improve a little when skins is done with after next week. It's quite good, I was expecting it to be quite trashy like celebrity juice. It's wasted on ITV2, it's quite funny and the guests in the first episode at least were quite big. Terrestrial television in the UK only really has 2 late night chat shows (Jonathan Ross, Graham Norton). With Carr's show and JLC's moved to ITV1 output of that type would double.

Yeah, he seems to get good ratings. Though I think his new speech will do poorly because it's so soon after the last one.

The Pride of America Awards could be interesting, though. It is apparently in the process of being developed for the US market and combines a few American favourites... Patriotism, Oprah Winfrey, Barack Obama and of course, awards ceremonies!

Tonight should be a good night for ITV1.

Dancing on Ice Final should reach 11-12m.

BBC1 should hold up well too.

It will be interesting to see if any of the terrestrial channels schedule a programme about Jade Goody in the coming days and reschedule some programming.

Regarding today I can see DOI pulling in just a little less than last year, because of stronger competition in the 8pm slot-don't forget Yellowstone pulling in 3.5m last week and Antiwues Roadshow always good for 5m even if it's a repeat.

I can see No1 Ladies being the Casualty in the 9pm slot falling below 5m, with people continuing to stay with ITV1.

Somebody is going to do a quick turnaround documentary, of that there is no doubt. Living will do well out of this though with repeats of Jade shows and perhaps some unbroadcast stuff.

Perhaps, but last year's DOI final had Antiques Roadshow and Eastenders against it, so I think it could potentially break 12m tonight.

I can't see No1 Ladies doing too well, 4.5m maybe, as I think Lewis should get 7.5-8m.

Thanks sonny. Fantastic day for BBC1 to have won virtually every slot apart from a bit against Ant and Dec. The Ireland v Wales match rated very well; probably not too surprising considering the nailbiting finish.

Total Wipeout's audince is very impressive, even moreso because I think it was a repeat. Any figures for Casualty? Apollo's ratings were quite decent, taking into account how both broadcasters have performed in that slot recently. Brilliant rating for MoTD.

Harry Hill's TV Burp is suffering in its early slot; it really could be getting closer to 6m in a better slot. Colour of Money is pretty much the same as the last 2 weeks, but is just over 4m good enough? I'm not sure. Ant and Dec improves from last week, but to lose out to Total Wipeout (repeat?) is a bit worrying.

Sonny, do you have Friday's Pushing Daisies rating? Would be interesting to see if it improved from last week's diabolical rating. And also yesterday's England v Scotland match? Thanks alot .

Four million for Match Of The Day? That's good. What did Casualty get?

Even though BBC1 won the evening it didn't win with blockbuster ratings which is what ITV will get tonight. I wish Saturday got some higher ratings, but that will happen with Britain's Got Talent and Doctor Who.

Colour of Money seems to have settled for a good, solid audience.

Next Saturday Primeval is back which should get them a good 5-6m, then after that they've only got one more Saturday until Britain's Got Talent returns.

Thanks sonny. Some solid ratings there but as I said before, the blockbuster ratings will return when Britain's Got Talent and Doctor Who return. Apparenty they showed the trailer for Planet Of The Dead in the stadium during the rugby yesterday with a Coming Soon banner at the end. Now could it be on Easter Saturday?

I think Doctor Who will be shown on Easter Sunday. Seems a bit difficult slotting it in on the Saturday to avoid Britain's Got Talent and also to fit it in alongside Robin Hood. Easter Sunday 7pm seems a good slot.
