6.2m is "good" for an Everton v Liverpool derby on a Wednesday night in February?
That's a pretty limp figure, even if it is ITV's best so far under the new contract. A peak of 7.3m in extra time is hardly sensational - the BBC news managed more than that in the same slot on Monday night.

Not necessarily. The last time ITV had FA Cup rights, the final was getting 4m some years. Indeed, the obituaries for the competition were being written so low were the ratings for some matches.
