I kept saying that Colour of Money should be after A & D, i bet tv burp has done down as well, with it's early start.

Surprising that it peaked in the final 5 mins. The Gavin & Stacey stuff was on then, the show itself was more or less done.

I did switch from Colour of Money to see that and I completely agree with you, it was genius.

The rest of it was horrific, though, from what I saw (flicking between it and COM).

lets dance did well, but it did only beat And and dec for 15 mins!!! Fridays ratings are a bit boring, ITV should move Pushing daisies should move to ITV2! im sure it would get around 0.6m viewers... I still havnt seen any adverts for Moving wallpaper which starts next week?

From what I understand, the only race highlights show is going to be on BBC Three at 19:00. Looking at the ratings that I posted for last year's F1, the highlights show averaged 742,000 viewers. However, the time slot improved over the course of the season, from say 23:45 to 22:30... this is reflected in the ratings which I've put into a graph seen here... the ratings increased towards the end of the season as the timeslot was further towards the back end of peaktime.

As for your second point... I'm surprised as well, but that schedule is "provisional" so it could change.

How much of the audience would have known that though? For something that got no promotion, that rating is very good. I've seen no promotion for Moving Wallpaper either yet.

Oh god that's high for Lets Dance!! I told you we could have a AR/BH situation on our hands! Ant and Dec down on its normal rating, but did well despite a mediocre lead-in.

Thinking on it, I bet Takeaway only got about 5m whilst up against Let's Dance, and about 7m after it. It was better last night but it still feels tired.

I wonder how TV Burp did? Probably below 5m because of the slot, a real shame because it was great last night.

Yep, unless ITV shift COM, I can see that happening, too.

This should be the ITV Saturday night schedule:

18:45 - YBF
19:15 - TV Burp
19:45 - SNT
21:00 - COM

Yeah but Let's Dance also peaked while Ant and Dec was on, which has to be a worry for ITV.

I note the DS report says it finished at 8pm. So if the 6.81m is only for 6.35-8pm, then it may well have averaged a bit less for the full 90 mins - the DS report has a sub 6m figure for the lotto draws.

I wonder what rating 'Let's dance' would have got if it was on ITV

On paper it sounded dreadful but seemingly did well

I remembered reading your post last night and thinking, nah Colour Of Money won't rate as low as that

It should be now with the benefit of hindsight. If they had have done that, people would have suggested the TV Burp/Takeaway sandwich slot

Colour of Money would have tanked in that slot as well, in my opinion. It was terrrible !

Plus, Duel was put in that slot last year and rated badly as well. And Duel was a better show as well...

I actually liked it. Watched the repeat on ITV2 this afternoon and I thought it was good.

Colour Of Money got the rating it deserved. A shite Deal Or No Deal rip off, but I can see Let's Dance dropping next week as well.

It's a shame we have no ratings for TV Burp or Wipeout though.

And QI should be back on BBC2 on Friday nights at 10pm. The figure it's getting now isn't that much different to what it got on BBC2 and if it was still on BBC2 we wouldn't say that it's a flop.

I liked Colour of Money as well! I thought it was really interesting (minus the sob stories)

To those who ask "Could Moving Wallpaper do a Benidorm?" I point out that Benidorm moved from a 10pm slot (series 1) to a 9pm-after-Corrie slot (series 2) hence the big increase. Wallpaper had the 9pm-after-Corrie slot from the word go (well, episode 2) yet flooped in the ratings.

I think it's time for BBC1 to consider moving drama from the Friday 9pm slot and move the post-watershed comedies to, say, Tuesday. They can make an exception for Have I Got News as Friday fits in with its recording day and it performs well in this slot.

Disastrous figures for Colour Of Money and it can only get worst. Serves ITV right. They tried too hard. When Millionaire, Weakest Link and Deal Or No Deal became "The Next Big Thing", it just happened. None of them set out to take the world by storm in the way COM has.

This is like when C4 devised The Hoobs - intended to be The Next Big Thing in children's TV after the Teletubbies and the Tweenies. The Hoobs still runs on C4, but again - they tried too hard and they were never as big as C4's accountants hoped.

Disappointed that DS didn't report last night's ratings for The Old Guys. I've stuck with this and last night I believe I got my reward with a much funnier episode.

Well, if it holds those sort of figures you probably won't have to wait long for the ITV1 copy to come along and find your answer...

Is this her consolation prize from ITV after being dropped by BGT?

Hopefully her acting is a little better than her judging apparently was!
