Just took delivery of my 8yr old daughters tablet. Its the Lelik Tec tablet we ordered it from Amazon. So Far quite impressed with it. Its far faster and more responsive than the rubbish Binatone tablet that came free with my phone. I have set up a new google account for her and restricted what apps are shown on play store and set up a pin no. I am looking to install a child friendly web browser what is the best one?

What do you mean by 'child friendly' exactly?

There are some plugins for google chrome that block adult sites etc

We have put the safe search to maximum on the stock browser to block any adult content but There's nothing to prevent the kids removing it. Is there a browser that has parental controls we can password protect?

Well i've never really looked into this as my youngest is 24

There's some more info here

That lists several apps that look like they could do what you want.

You could setup OpenDNS and configure your router so that all your traffic at home is filtered. However, that wouldn't necessarily apply if the tablet was taken out of the house.

We use Kidsplace which is mentioned in the article, on my sons tablet and it is very good.
There is also an app called safe browser which does what it says and another called K9. K9 does block YouTube though.
