I currently have a Nokia N8, and over the last few months have been feeling like a change, I only bought the N8 for the camera.

I posted an advert on gumtree last night and have been contacted by someone wanting to do a straight swap for a samsung galaxy s2, I was just wondering if it is still any good? Never had an android phone before so I am a little scared that I might regret swapping.

The main questions I have...

I would be going from a 12 megapixel camera to an 8 megapixel, would I notice a huge difference? and is the S2 loud enough when playing music through headphones?

The S2 was Samsung's flagship phone 2 years ago and still has similar specs to the likes of the Galaxy S4 Mini or HTC One Mini. It's not a bad phone by any means.

As for the headphone output - it's fairly loud (but can be made louder by means of a hack)

Ah Gumtree, the place for villains, vagabonds, scoundrels & thieves. Buyer beware with the straight swap.

Make sure you get it from the persons house.

If you suddenly get "no service" in a few days or weeks, go pay him a visit.

Oh, and make a note of your current phones IMEI number. You can view it by dialing in *#06#. That way, if he does the dirty on you, you can do likewise.

To answer your question, the S2 is a nice phone.
