Love it!

I still say that Shirley/Mick scene last Friday (the first scene in the trailer) has a hidden meaning.

I like the family but that trailer is awful.

Still nothing beats this.

I really think I'm going to hate Nancy I like the idea behind her character but I'm not getting the tingles from her. Yet when I saw previews of Linda, Mick and Johnny I just knew they were perfect. Hopefully by tonights eppy I will be won over.

Not really sure about Nancy, they might get her right I don't know. She may do a Lola where she was hated to begin with but after being toned down, done well, maybe.

Linda: You're still my little girl, even though you do nothing with your hair.
Nancy: Don't need to, I'm a natural beauty.

Still, I love how she punches Dexter!!

So far I am loving all the Carters, I do have a feeling that Nancy may prove to be the weak link in the family but we will see.

And Linda is by far the strong link. She has proved herself in such a short space of time and is already becoming a fave of mine.

I don't like that trailer at all. But I love the Carters. I don't really have any feelings towards Nancy yet tbh.

A woman hitting a man for laughs tee hee. I hate it when EE does it, its offensive and degrading. Lets have Mick punch Linda in the face tee hee...........what do you mean that's not funny.
Oh yes because only women can be victims. And people why male domestic violence is so underreported.

The Carter family are just a rip off of Den and Angie Watts family from the 80's for the 21st century. Eastenders really need to think of some new ideas.

I do think Timothy West does look a bit like Shirley, but I cannot see any resemblance between him Mick and Tina.

Scrabbler, what would you say to someone who says Linda is another blonde Bianca?

I don't like how they have made the daughter Nancy so dog rough, from the way she dresses to the way she eats. The girl who plays her is incredibly pretty. It would be more believable if Nancy was well dressed and a social climber and wanted to get away from her family because she perceived THEM as low class.
