CS. Why is dierdrie so stupid ?
I really thought she'd seen the light and smelt the coffee when she accused toxic and partner in crime of trashing her house and faking a burglary. Wouldn't the scared looks at mentioning calling the police and then saying there was 3 no 4 of them ring alarm bells ?
Then go and falls for the "do you think your own daughter would do such a thing". Well yes, this is Tracy were talking about, she would !!!! |

Given she then said that she didn't think it was kids and that it was a man and woman in their 30s she clearly saw through them.

And then gives in and says they can move in after so resolutely saying they can't, so they think they've won. I don't get or understand her logic for that.

They're moving in on HER terms though. She's not going to let them freeload.

Yeah, untill they do the,
Short of rent this month, business is slow. Would you throw US and AMY onto the streets. And that is what they"ll do once they're in, just use the threat of amy homeless to stop stupid dreary throwing them out. Both of which she's pulled before. |

Why on earth do they want to live with her though
and particularly Rob. He's used to having his own space and as was pointed out is in his thirties so why would he want to move in to a dreary 2 up 2 down house share with even more dreary Deirdre. Having said that maybe he's had a knock to the head or something as he is actually going out with Tracey and why oh why would a man like him do that

I was so mad when Deidre said the vile pair could move in; she should have called the police and had them arrested. I hope Ken is able to return soon and throw them out.

Deirdre was always going to let them move in, she was just teaching them a lesson in the process - firstly by using their smarmy charm-offensive to get a nice new telly for free - then dishing out the sharp shock of saying "no" together with a few home truths for Rob.
Now they'll be toeing the line, paying proper rent, whilst under no illusions who's calling the shots. Crafty Deirdre played them like a fiddle. (The "break-in" stuff was ridiculous though, but as I love Deirdre I'm prepared to let that slide) |

How cool is he eh?

Deirdre is just an awful cartoon character now, acting like an idiotic comedy character every episode. Deep underneath she is still the dumb spineless woman who lets Tracy walk over her. |

Freeloaded off Tracy? Who, the one who dumps Amy on Deirdre all the time and despite being in her late 30s still lives with her mother in a small little house. He never freeloaded off Carla, he kept her business above the water whilst she went off with Peter to America.
What the hell remote idea did he ever have about running a business? Robbing a business yes, (as he soon proved), but running one? ![]() ![]() ![]() And as for Tracyluv, OK, she has freeloaded off men or her parents all her life - it's what she does and she won't ever change, but ex-convict, no-hoper, loser Rob is using her just for sex and so is no better than she is. |

Most likely the side-effects of the back room/pub toilet schism nobody in Coronation Street's noticed yet. That and the 80 Rothmans she gets through in a day.

It wasn't so long ago that Rob resisted the idea of Tracey moving in with him at his flat. He doesn't strike me as the type of man who would enjoy hanging out with his inlaws or be a step parent to his GF's offspring. It's all a bit farcical, rather like Tracey's general behaviour
