Why does Roxy treat a 5 year old child like a baby all the time
Seriously iv never known a 5 year old to be carried around all the time
Has Amy some special needs , I'm not trying to be cruel saying that but that's the only way I can see of justifying the fact that a 5 year old child in school never speaks and is carried around

It's unusual its could be the little girl(s) playing her are just very quiet and not at the stage of talking on screen properly but then it doesn't account why she carried everywhere though.

But the character isn't required to a do a lot at this stage but then considering what Tiffany was like at her age she should be further along.

But it does show who has the better confidence out of Tiffanny and Amy,
Tifanny was 5 when she first arrived and I remember she was quite amusing and talkative!

You never know when you cast a very young child whether they are going to develop into a star or not. I believe the same young girl has been in the role of Amy for years and obviously she has not taken to acting in quite the same way as others do. I imagine they will re-cast her soon enough (and she'll probably appear to have aged years overnight)

Yeah I think a recast will happen, when who knows, but taking in account that the twin girls who play Amy have been in the role since babies they not natural actresses but they do seem to understand what they have to do when asked and response well with Roxy and Ronnie.

I remember Shane Richie talking about spending time with the little boy who plays Tommy he said that he was getting bored & distracted on set but spend a afternoon with him to build a good relationship on screen and it seems to have worked.
