I came across this a while back when the video had only a few hundred views. It is very good indeed. One of the best covers I have seen on YouTube.
It was also good to see that Doctor Who is so popular in France (The uploader is French and most of the comments were originally by French people. Gave me a chance to use my pathetic French skills when I commented. I think most of them are in English now. )

Haha! I was going to post a comment until I realised he was French
I still might, after all I know "tres bien"!His cover of This is Gallifrey is also excellent, as is his series 7 compilation. |

i think he should have made more effort to match the colour of his bow tie/braces to his many guitars and bass though!

Before I clicked on the video I was expecting it to be a cover of the Jon Pertwee song - incredible as it is, I'm disappointed it's not what I thought it was!

I've linked it before.
It's a salutory lesson in internet influence when you pimp a YT video for 6 extra views.

If Murray Gold is actually playing it, does it count as a cover

Two guitar versions and both really good. The first guy not only arranges it for guitar, edits the video clips but also gives a pretty nifty impression of elevens mannerisms too.
Someone point me to a guitar tab or a midi file of this! |
