It appears Luisa is going into celebrity big brother tomorrow

Who would have guessed she wanted fame

I don't think that doing on these things makes her Apprentice appearance any less credible. She always came across very passionate about wanting it, she's obviously quite a successful businesswoman and I think she should have won actually.

Compare her to Katie Hopkins. Katie was a very strong task performer, but it became clear that she didn't want the job. Other candidates said that she laughed at Sir Alan when they were in the house, she said things purely to wind people up and make a name for herself, and in the end she stepped down. Luisa was also a very strong task performer, but while she was a little controversial I was never in any doubt that she really wanted the partnership with Lord Sugar. The fact that she's happy to take fame as it comes in no way harms her credibility, in my opinion anyway.

Luisa had one of the strongest business brains we have seen on the apprentice - she sailed through some retail tasks that regularly trip people up. As no one knows how she spends her time as a whole, or how much she makes, its impossible to tell how fame, fun, family, business, and money are prioritised in her life. Its even impossible to guess whether a few weeks on CBB will make her more in cash, or in publicity/advertising, than the same time spent working normally on her business interests.

its actually a very odd/interesting looking CBB this year - with a lot of unknown young non entities, and then some pretty famous older people who would be widely known to older generations. The advantage of doing CBB over iAC is Luisa probably won't have to eat bits of Australian animals or get bitten by nasties to get the same amounts of money or coverage. She might want to do Splash next year......

how ironic when 6 months ago she tweeted that she won't do CBB because "it's s**t and embarrassing"

I think the big difference between the two is that while Luisa could be very bitchy and self-serving at times, she was at least capable of recognising when she had done something wrong, and trying to make amends for it. Katie on the other hand strikes me as the type of person who'd happily knife you in the back, then gloat at you for being stupid enough to let her sneak up on you in the first place.

Is she still pitching herself as a "serious business woman"...? http://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz...ed-scenes.html

Just seems to be yet another Z-list celeb.

She has three businesses and does well for herself. Just because she has other interests doesn't mean that she can't be a businesswoman.

Next time I apply for a job I will put down "simulate sex in a shower on TV with celebs" as one of my interests.

I don't think she applies for jobs. She runs her own businesses. What's wrong with doing that kind of thing? It's not like it affects her work.

It will affect how she is perceived by people dealing with her. Not everyone is as open-minded as you seem to be.

If people saw her on The Apprentice, they will have seen how passionate she really is about doing well for herself. Who's to say that you can't simultaneously be a celebrity and a businesswoman?

I can see where Joel is coming from, as it gives her a bad name and a bad public image. Maybe it shouldn't matter, but sadly, it does. Its a shame for me as I really do think she's extremely bright and intelligent, so why she feels the need to go on Big Brother to make a name for herself, I don't know.

I can see where he's coming from, but I wouldn't say that she's necessarily making a bad name for herself. I don't actually watch Celebrity Big Brother (I watch the ordinary series) so I can't see how she's coming across, but I doubt she'd be trying to make herself come across so bad that she can't succeed in her business life. Again, I compare her to Katie Hopkins; Katie is equally intelligent, but for some reason she has turned herself into such a public hate figure that no one would ever take her seriously. Luisa might be using her appearance on The Apprentice to get well-known, but I doubt that she's coming across as a hate figure, and I would hope that she's astute enough to know where to draw the line.

I nearly got onto Big Brother a few years ago - not to be famous, I just really wanted the experience and I thought I'd learn a lot about myself through it. It was a huge risk, because I want to go into theatre and I did have to consider whether trying to be on Big Brother was worth it, knowing that my career could potentially be very much harmed. In the end, I decided to go for it, for two reasons really. Firstly, I think that you regret what you don't do more than what you do do, and I'm not prepared to cut out the whole of the rest of my life just for my vocation. Secondly, I thought that while it might set me back a bit, not that many people actually watch Big Brother anymore, and I thought that after five years or so, no one would remember me from it - so I figured it was a risk worth taking. Obviously I didn't get in in the end, but I got quite far in the audition process - I don't know exactly how far, because it's all very secretive. I may try again at some point, but I haven't made any definite decisions yet - I'm seeing where life takes me.

I sent you one of my Apprentice riddles, by the way!

I haven't been watching either so what I have seen is limited to the odd clip. Its her choice to go on CBB obviously, but she could be doing so much more to make Baker's Toolkit a success; I look at Leah, keeping her head down and working hard and I really think its a shame that Luisa isn't doing what Leah is doing.

I saw you sent me it, still trying to work it out! All I've got so far is that all of them survived at least one PM defeat and none of them, bar Adam C and Harry H were fired on a week where they lost as PM, but I'll keep trying!

I've got a clue if you want it Also, Helene was technically fired on a week that she lost as PM, as she and Alex were joint PMs in the final task.

I worked it out whilst trying to sleep last night (I think!)

All of the candidates lost as PM at least once to someone who didn't get as far as they did overall (I think!) This explains why so few candidates were fired on a week when they PMed - they had already lost as PM.

EDIT: To clarify, as an example, Helene is on the list because when she lost as PM, Lucinda was the winning PM and Lucinda finished 5th when Helene was joint 3rd. Alex W, by contrast isn't on the list because when he lost as PM, Claire was the winning PM and Claire obviously finished in 2nd to Alex's joint 3rd.

The reason why Series 6 isn't in the list is because every single PM showdown was won by the candidate who got further - this is something I had already realised and was actually how I figured it out!

You're right, that's exactly what it is. Also, all of the candidates naturally got quite far (the shortest surviving one is Katie, who went in Week 6.)

My clue would have been that every winner who loses as PM at any point will be on the list. Also, Week 3 is the earliest anyone can be fired and still be there (well, in theory it could happen in Week 2, if both Project Managers from Week 1 were on the same Week 2 team, both in the final boardroom and both fired, but realistically that's never going to happen.)

I love working out obscure Apprentice facts! (Sad, I know.) The one that always fascinates me is that Saira and Zoe are the only women in any series to have two PM losses. There are so many more men who have had. I remember being really shocked when I realised that.
