O2 upgrade problem
Hi
So, my phone died on me a few weeks ago and as I was due an upgrade on the 26th I decided to wait rather than having the phone fixed. I decided to upgrade online with O2 . However O2 need to send a four digit code to your old phone for security. As my old phone is totally broken I'm unable to receive this code. I have spoken to O2 live chat and they have said there is nothing they can do apart from putting the sim in another phone. However the phone sim I have is a micro sim and none of the phones nearby hold micro SIM cards. Does anyone have any advice? Should I just cancel the contract? Thanks |

Take your sim into an o2 shop. They give away sim adapters. If you ask, they may let you put your sim into one of their demo phones to get the sms.

Try upgrading over the phone and threaten to cancel your contract unless they get it sorted.

You'll get a better upgrade deal over the phone. Shops cannot do retentions deals.
Or if you insist on doing it online get a micro SIM adapter. |
