Think it was either an older version of Clara herself or a friend. Someone wanted Clara and the doctor to meet. That's why the mysterious "woman in the shop" gave Clara the doctors phone number. Described as the best helping in the universe. Reckon all will be revealed in good time. Probably when Clara leaves the tardis. Go back to the beginning like they did with 11 and Amy .

Yeah we will probably find out near the time of Clara's exit how she got the number.
However everything we saw in Season 7 stands. Clara jumped into his timestream, she helped him throughout all his life, living and dying through time and space. The doctor met and lost her echo in Snowmen and Asylum so he was trying to find her for a long time as in the prequel to Bells of St John.

It would be no different, as the Doctor's own personal timeline would remain unchanged. He can, after all, remember all the parrallel timelines, and every aspect of a paradox. Clara might be coinfused as to some aspects, but as we saw she was remembering the details of what happened in the deleted timeline in Journey to the Centre of the TARDIS (in which we saw that the Doctor had no problem remembering and reconciling the deleted timeline), I doubt she would need much explanation, if any at all.

Clara went into the Doctor's fissure when it still existed. It doesn't exist any more, she couldn't do it again, but just because it never existed doesn't mean it always never existed.

If so, not sure about the tomb on Tranzelore anyway, although a time loop making changes in future events which have not yet happened is ok by me.
I love the story line of Clara being part of the Doctors timeline, all the way back to first doctor .
Am looking forward to seeing how she plays out as a companion for the new Doctor cause she wont be part of his timeline, just a normal companion. Should be a terrific season.
