Just thought I would start a thread for people to post the albums they are buying this year (and to keep track of how many people are purchasing!

So far this year

1) In a Perfect World by Kodaline
2) Waiting for Something to Happen by Veronica Falls
3) Veronica Falls by Veronica Falls

One a day so far may be a little much, but I'm just catching up on some of the stuff I missed last year.

This is about what you have actually bought, not what you plan to buy!

Well so far I plan to buy:

Wanderlust - Sophie Ellis-Bextor
Little Red - Katy B
Salute - Little Mix (it was from last year but I haven't yet bought it)
Pixie Lott's new album if that comes out this year

Haven't thought about any others I plan to buy. I can never predict that

The only two confirmed albums I'm excited about this year so far are Katy B and Sam Smith. It's pretty certain Rihanna will release an album too, in which case I'll be more than excited for that

Maybe I should have been more clear,

It's not about what you plan to buy, but what you have actually bought.

That way it's slightly more interesting than someone posting I'm going to buy so and so, and then a couple of months late I bought so and so!

Delays have posted a lovely demo on Twitter, so I'm going to love whatever they come up with in 2014. Don't know if it'll be a full album though, they promise 'songs' and a tour of Faded Seaside Glamour, but that's okay.

Other than a new album by Harriet Wheeler/Sundays (which is about as likely as a Stefan Edberg comeback to tennis), I can't think of much else I'd be excited by.

I've just brought Angel Haze - Dirty Gold, and Beyoncé - BEYONCÉ.
Both are spectacular artistic albums of which I'm proud to own!

I plan on buying Iggy Azalea, Naya Rivera and The Vamps' upcoming albums.

I bought Queens of the Stone Age (Like Clockwork) and Biffy Clyro (Opposites) today. They were being sold for £4.99 in HMV.

Also bought a Greatest Hits album from the Who today in the same shop. £1.99 for around 16 songs. That's a bargain - things aren't always cheaper on Amazon. Quite pleased to be supporting a bricks and mortar shop on this occasion!
