EE - Linda Carter/Kellie Bright Appreciation Thread
I really like Linda, and i know she is hot headed but thats good thing at times lol
I was the one looking forward to Kellie the most out of the Carters, and i thought she would fit in EE so well esp in the Queen Vic, she has the classic old feel to it and also i kinda saw that classic old feel in the Only Fools and Horses prequel Rock and Chips, where she played Del's mum, and she was one the best things about the show to be honest. Also yes i did watch her on The Upper Hand - remember that lol |

Bump! Don't know how this thread isn't more popular, Linda is one of my favourite characters and I'm dreading Monday's episode
Although according to interviews and twitter the script is amazing and I'm really intrigued to see what Linda urges Dean to talk about. Really wish they weren't going down this route with Dean and Linda but I know Kellie Bright is a fantastic actress and obviously it's an incredibly important story to tell

I've liked Linda ever since she accepted Johnny's sexuality. Poor Linda.
I know my heart is going to go out to her on Monday but I can understand why she keeps quiet (although she shouldn't really) - it's really difficult when this kind of thing happens within a family. Kat kept quiet about Harry for years so as not to break Charlie's heart, although in this case I know Dean is damaged not evil.I'm trying to think how she could have avoided this situation. She must care about Dean to some degree because she concealed his pass at her from Mick so that Mick "wouldn't kill him" but I don't see him really being too mad about a drunken pass, and unfortunately when she tried to confide in Sharon, Sharon wrongly thought she encouraged Dean and Nancy thought she was having an affair with him. Of course, when Dean apologised and got a girlfriend himself, she had no reason to believe he was a threat to her. |
