I think I do now. I didn't used to but two CBB a year has made a normal series be something to look forward to.

I prefer the normal show, although it can get a bit dragged out sometimes and is a strain to stick with it.

It's because it's only on once a year. Plus I feel it is proper Big Brother. Everyone starts on a level playing field.

CBB - Its only 3 weeks and its short and sweet and normally just for fun [although sometimes things just start getting interesting in the last week and I feel frustrated that its ending so soon

BB - because its 10 weeks, you get to know housemates inside and out and its becomes a more serious competition

Yes civilian all the way although there isn't a great amount of difference nowadays when you consider the calibre of zeleb on CBB and the mini zelebs (Dexter, Gina) on the civilian BB.

3 weeks isn't long enough...needs more weeks for storylines, dynamics to form etc.

yeah although I enjoy CBB I have always preferred normal BB.
They all go in on a level playing field with no media image already built up and then the relationship develop more naturally because no one has met before (unless at auditions, or the odd exception - Sallie/Dexter, twins, Jackie/Charlie). You get to know them better as well because it is on longer and they let their guard down more in normal BB because they don't have a public persona to protect. It's probably why I don't really mind unknowns like Jasmine going into CBB because they don't really hold back either.

I prefer normal BB , it's longer to form an opinion on the housemates and really get to love or hate them. I do wish they would stop putting a CBB on straigfht after it though, I'm too exhausted for that as well after the normal series!

Normal bb by a mile. It's a real endurance test and all about coping with the fact that you're locked up and watched which civilians aren't used to so the cracks start showing and that's what makes for entertainment.

I'm a normal BB person, i have always enjoyed it more.

I absolutely love normal BB and never miss a show. Getting to know ordinary people, complete strangers to us, who are competing for prize money makes it so much more gripping.

CBB = meh. The launch is generally the HL.
