Was expecting someone from x factor

I like the line up overall, but I'm surprised there's no one from the X Factor in there this year. Usually, someone from last year's X Factor appears. We had Frankie Cocozza, then Rylan... I was half expecting someone like Sam Callahan to join the house.

Will there be any late entrants?

I wouldn't have thought any of this year's contestants were big enough characters. No-one really stood out or was controversial like Frankie and Rylan.

Since X-Factor is on the slide now, I'd have been surprised if a contestant had gone in.

Sam Callahan was vaguely rumoured but having about as much charisma as a plank probably ruled him out

X-Factor is over, no one cares about it anymore. Not to mention not one of the contestants has any personality. I don't watch XF but I knew all about Frankie Cocozza and Rylan Clark. They were talked about outside of the show a lot. This years crop, I could only name a few, and that's only cause they're mentioned here.

Sam Callahan is beyond irrelevant. Why would they pick him?

What is wrong with that sentence, may I ask?

How about BGT?

Susan Boyle hasn't done a lot recently, and Paul Potts just had a film out that needs DVD sales.

There was a documentary about her on TV just recently, wasn't there?

According to Wiki, Susan did a UK tour last year and is planning to take the show worldwide in 2014. She has also starred in a film recently and released an album a couple of months ago in the US.

My mistake

Last thing I read was that she was settling back into her community life in Scotland.

Those PR people, hey?

Thanks for the schedule though

You're welcome.

Susan Boyle has an album and single in the charts. I also doubt that Susan would be able to cope with the BB house.

I don't know very much about her but I'm aware she has documented mental health issues and I don't think I'd enjoy seeing her in there.

I stopped watching X Factor 3 years ago. I heard of Rylan and Frankie without even watching, but I couldn't name anyone from this series.

Seems like nobody made big enough headlines.

None of the x factor contestants this year were very controversial so they wouldn't have been approached for BB. They didn't have any 'joke acts' this year and they are normally the ones who end up on BB - Rylan, Jedward, Frankie. Most of the boys and girls categories were under 18 as well so wouldn't be able to be on the show.

That's debatable.

The thing is, of the lesser known HMs, they still (for the most part) have some personality. Sam Callahan is disposable fluff, he would bring less than zero to that house, as would any of this years XF lot.

At least an X-factor cast off would have the actual talent of singing. Although given the state of the show, there's no guarantee that a former contestant could sing well.

Have you ever heard Sam Callahan sing?
