Not been that impressed with Lionel. Never thought I'd say this, but I've seen Jim showing more consideration and empathy to peoples feelings other than his own at times than Lionel has. Of course he talks the talk and seems jovial, but from what I've seen hes only interested in himself. He spends so much time with Jim, appearing to be having such a laugh with him, yet nominates him for having his own 'production company', his OTT reaction to Louisas comment which was clearly only said in jest and which he gets away with because it comes from him, his reaction when hes told that Louisa was actually upset about it (good! because I'm upset!') and quite a few other cli[ps have shown that he is mostly concerned with himself and hasn't shown a great deal of empathy or kindness to anyone else. I'm not saying hes a horrible man, just someone I've not been that impressed with. What annoys me is the fact hes still getting the 'awww Lionel' as if hes some gorgeous, generous, loveable teddy bear just because hes a household name when hes not shown much of these characteristics at all.

Its the same with Evander...he can say very little in the house, and when he does speak its to say he thinks gays are abnormal, women are not equal, boast about how wonderful he is and talk about how he punched his horse in the face because it hurt him and made him look stupid. If this came from a younger contestant, less well known, he would have been very much disliked and criticised. And why does he get a free pass and is treated like a God? Because hes proved he has a talent in hitting people very hard!

He told Luisa he thought she was a rude ****ing cow harsh as it may have sounded I liked the honesty. I don't think he's too old at all the wily old fox. Part of me wants him to get really, really cross in the house. If that interaction made Luisa cry then she needs to prepare herself for round 2
I think seeing him in the Extras CBB makes me enjoy him more than I should.

Why are people lumping everyone over 50 as old? There is a whole generation between Jim and Lionel - it's like saying we're all in the same generation as our parents.

Age shouldn't come into it anyway. People are people and don't change their personalities unless they are unlucky enough to get a mental health problem (which is actually a low %). If someone is thoughtful and sweet at 30, they're likely to be the same at 50,60,70... If someone is self obsessed and doesn't show much thought for others at 80, it's safe to say they were probably the same at 20!

Well said.

Plus, why do some young people assume they are in a magical group that won't get older? We are all young to start with and then we all get older. It seems obvious but it seems to need pointing out somehow. Young, middle aged, old - we are all just people.
