When Jasmine was rolling round the floor, dragging poor Sam around and struggling to get up, was I the only person who expected Liz Jones, as an older and above all unfettered woman to step in and help?

She had Lee and Casey helping her, how many more did it need?

after decades spent in media and fashion I'm pretty certain Liz Jones can recognise an attention seeking, badly-acted, put-on drama when she sees one... that's why she stayed where she was.

I think one thing friends and enemies can agree on is that Liz Jones is a nervy person, easily upset by almost anything. It is not easy to read her expression - since she can't do any - but I suggest she was finding the whole thing a bit alarming, and hoping everyone would soon calm down and go to bed.

How many people did it need to get her off the floor? Dappy was also unfettered, male and stronger?

I am not keen on oddball Liz but why should she step in? She is not the House policeman. BB would intervene if it were getting out of hand and Jasmine Show off would get a warning.

Liz did the right thing or rather didn't do anything, how could she help?

Why did poor Sam not tell Jasmine to pack it in? Because if it had been me she was dragging around or simulating sex with I don't think I would have kept quiet.

Why should she?

Perhaps Liz doesn't want to fall into that all to familiar archetype for the older female housemate- mother hen.

It was also her first night and she looked very uneasy. Grappling with a pissed American was probably quite far down on her "to do list" for the evening.

Maybe she did, but Jasmine was in full flight either very drunk or pretending, for airtime. Would she take any notice? BB should have done something when she fell the first time. Handcuffed together it was stupid to allow that to carry on. I'm glad neither of them were injured. Or, are broken bones BB's latest idea of entertainment?

Why should she? Jasmine isn't Liz's responsibility. Sam should have put her foot down, and told Jasmine that she is pissing her off.

Sam was obviously, & rightly, annoyed with her after her talk 'dirty' display. It was said in front of Lionel, who is from a more well - mannered era !!

I felt very sorry for her - but Jasmine won't always be drunk ! ......or, will she ??

OK fair enough just me then - no chance of Liz Jones being seen as mother of the house tho, Linda and Jim have definitely been cast as the parents, Liz is more like an eccentric Aunt.

Liz Jones reckons she’ll be the first out of Celebrity Big Brother 2014 this week.

The journalist faces the axe with Dappy as part of the weekend’s ‘handcuff’ twist.

Speaking in the Diary Room in tonight’s show, Liz says: “Housemates may be quite surprised that beneath my clam exterior there is conflict, doubt and sadness.

“The housemates all seem confident and happy in themselves. I’m not very extrovert; I prefer to ask people questions.

“I think Dappy wants to stay in and wants people to like him and love him, I feel sorry for him and he would probably take eviction to heart. I think it will be me and poor Dappy who will go first.”

Liz’s fellow housemates have also noticed her quietness.

Blue star Lee Ryan told Big Brother: “Liz is finding it difficult in here, bless her. She is a very insecure nervous person; I hope she survives the eviction.

“I don’t want to see Dappy go; he brings so much warmth and love to the house.”

After the weekend’s tasks and twists, Dappy and Liz Jones, Lee Ryan and Casey Batchelor, and Luisa Zissman and Evander Holyfield now all face eviction.

They face the public vote in their pairs, with viewers voting to save both housemates together. The couple with the fewest votes will leave in Wednesday night’s latest live show on Channel 5 with Emma Willis.

why? if another housemate who is an adult, wants to get too drunk and make a fool of herself how does this become Liz's responsibility? I would only step in if Sam was in danger of really getting hurt,

it was the same criticism thrown at Kate when Jade, another adult, was squealing and squirming naked on the sofa during a drunken game of truth or dare, if you are going to have too much to drink on a reality TV show with people you hardly know you have to suffer the consequences of your actions I am afraid!

Don't think there's anything motherly about Liz, well unless it's for rescued animals. She's probably one of those people who like animals better than people.

What on earth could Liz have done? By interfering she would have earned the wrath of many viewers thinking it was not her business to interfere, and anything she said to Jasmine would have fallen on deaf ears anyway considering how drunk she was. I don't know about abnormal behaviour, I am older than Liz but I can guarantee that I would have removed myself as far as possible from that awful drunk woman! Anyway, if Sam needed help it would be BB's responsibility to step in and sort things out, not Liz's.

She's quite anti mothers unless they have fur I believe. There's no way Liz would step in to a difficult situation, she will just observe and then write about it.
