I have just seen that the Facebook App on iPhone is using 595MB.. almost half a gig, I realize it might be just cache, but is there a way to clear it off rather than delete the entire app?

Thanks..

I knew from the title this would be the problem before clicking the thread.

It is a cache and will grow bigger and bigger the more the app is used. Only way to resolve the problem is to delete the app and then reinstall it. You'll obviously need to do this every once in a while to clear the cache again if you're an avid user of Facebook.

Some iOS apps are starting to include 'clear cache' buttons now. It is a shame though that this needs to be implemented by developers and hasn't been implemented system wide by Apple.
