I can see the photos but not video, if I plug the stick in my laptop or imac the video can be seen,
Could anyone help ?

If you are 'looking' at the memory stick with a video app, or the gallery app etc, it's only going to show the files that it can play.

If you look at the location with a file manager, such as ES File Explorer, then it should show you all the files, and if you click on the videos it'll ask what app you want to play them with, if you have a suitable app installed.

Forgive me but could you explain a bit more.
All i know is that the photos that i transfered from my canon sx50 to a memory stick plays on my computers but when i plug the mem stick into my lg tablet it only shows photos....no vid.
So, what do i have to do?.....in laymans terms
Thanks in advance

Download a file explorer app (ES File Explorer is one), then point it to the memory stick and see what comes up.

"Video" is a generic term which can cover many different detailed formats. For example my Panasonic camera can record video in either of AVCHD format OR MPEG format on its SD card - settable from the camera menu system. AVCHD gives much smaller video files but fewer software packages can play these.

Tablets themselves have two groups of "Video paying ability". There are videos which the tablet can "just play" with no extra software and those which might need to be played using a App.

It is clear that your LG Tablet cannot natively play your Canon video. It is probable that some add-on App will be able to do this for you!

Try installing VLC that will play most popular video formats.
