I got this album this morning and i must say its bloody marvellous!

Each track sounds so different from the last and they are all real gems, some really thought provoking. Anyone else got it?

Certainly have (had it for a week or so actually). Favourites are Banquet (an older BP song), She's Hearing Voices and the single So Here We Are.

I just wish everyone would stop compereing them to Franz Ferdinand, who are a monotonous dirge.

Also listening to Moby's newie, Hotel and Claire Danes' ex, Ben Lee - Awake is the New Sleep...

...Lovely!

They sound nothing like Franz Ferdinand! Thats aweful that they are getting compared like that.

I think they're only being compared to Franz inasmuch as they've been tipped to be this year's big thing, as FF were at the beginning of last year.

I haven't had a chance to get the album yet, but I'm looking forward to it - the 4 or 5 singles so far have been very good.

Just a question about this album..

Where is Little Thoughts? That's one of my favourite Bloc Party tracks and it's not on there, does anyone know why?

Yeah, God knows why they didn't include it. IMO, some of the songs on the album are quite bland and should have been replaced with Little Thoughts.

Yeah i thought that, its a little annoying that its not included as thats their most "Radio friendly" song that will appeal to most people.

Franz Ferdinand lifted their entire style form Gang of Four, and they don't do iot especially well. They marketed a better bands style for the mass market, nothing more.

Bloc Party however, are very promising and this is a top start.

Good, but vastly overrated at the minute.

It'll be on the re-release then like "What a Waster" by The Libertines was no doubt.
