ipod under sea for 3 days, now works !!

my son, by accident, dropped his ipod touch into the harbour where we live. this is an inner harbour where boats are moored up. it was about 1 meter down I guess in the sea for at least 3 days.

I happened to see someone with a large fishing net and asked him to retrieve it, which he did. never expecting it to work again.

this was about 2 weeks ago

the last 2 days my son had been charging it up constantly and it now works. there is no charge in the battery though, so have to keep it plugged in. but everything else works 100%

I thought that was quite amazing.

Hmmm. I'd give it a few weeks until the oxygen it has now been exposed to starts to corrode the insides.
