SCD for me all the way. Agree with everything Olive has said.

Strictly by a country mile - so much more professional & no adverts

I have to agree with you there especially on the adverts! The adverts ruin DOI as there are too many of them.

Strictly! Much better show. Karen and Jason arguing always gets on my nerves. Looks so unprofessional!

Agreed. That Jason is just a very poor "version" of Craig from SCD.

What an easy choice. Strictly all the way

I want to like DOI, i did once, especially when the judging panel was Robin Katerina and Louis but there's too much to dislike about the running of the show.

Its cruel,
the treatment of Jorgie and Sylvain for the purposes of 'dram' was shameful
Jason is utterly repellent. There's a world of difference between Crags panto villain judge and Jason's outright repulsiveness.
Philip is unpleasant

Its just all too spiteful.

Strictly on the other hand may be just as manipulated, and certainly Len can be quite unpleasant, but there's overall a much more pleasant and generous feel to it.

Simple choice for me - I've never watched SCD purely because I can't bear Bruce Forsyth.

Strictly for me by miles, for most of the reasons already stated.

It doesn't bother me at all that this is the last DOI, but I'd hate to think we'd seen the last of Strictly.

Neither can I (I have to mute him) but even so I think Strictly is a better show, which is quite sad as I adore ice dancing.

I can't watch DOI live because the ads drive me mad so I watch on catch-up later. I tend to ff through everything Jason says as I find him unbearably rude. Philip and Christine have no chemistry at all and the whole thing has become too samey - the routines very similar.

Like others have said I'd love to get to know the pros a bit better as we do on SCD.

The problem I have with Strictly is that I can't really tell what is or isn't a good performance. I think "Oh, that was good!" and then the judges proceed to give the couple low scores! Somehow, I find DOI easier to judge. I also like the risk element of ice skating!

No contest. SCD is WAY better than DOI (Dead on Ice?). In fact I've just tried to watch it on the ITV player, and gave up after Gareth, it's not worth watching however many minutes it is of adverts (even on a closed tab while I'm looking at something else) just for 90 seconds of skating, most of which is Meh.

I just watched Ray and Kyran on YouTube, I'm not bothering with the rest.

SCD on the other hand, although I do ff through the VTs and some of the faffing, I watch a lot more of each show, and it's not ruined by millions of adverts.
