Pity her desire to do well on DOI didn't extend to her behavior off the ice. She should realise that acting like a petulant child doesn't go down well with the public, most of whom don't give a toss about the fact that her skating partner is her friend's ex.

Good point. I agree.

They shouldn't have partnered Jorgie and Sylvain together

I don't think she came across as petulant at all, she was trying to be light-hearted in an awkward situation. Sylvain was dour and humourless throughout the whole show. It was a shame that the producers decided to pair these two together, as I suspect that this cost Jorgie her place in the show,

Maybe if she had been a better actress she would have been able to play the part...”

I totally agree with you. I do actually think she could have gone far in this competion, as I loved her in the last, but she acted like a petulant teenager, and then expected Sylvain to be all nice and friendly with her. Philip Scofield made things ten time worse by his stupid comments, and they should never have been paired up anyway.

Well some people take it too seriously. I wanted her to stay.

Really?

Silly girl - how the hell did she expect that partnership to work and support from the viewers when she took cheap shots at Samia, Sylvain's real life partner.

She was asking for the backlash and she got it.

The only reason Jorgie's gone is because of her partnership with Sylvain and her subsequent VT. If she had been partnered with someone else, I think she would have more than likely gone through.

I think they were both set up.

I think Jorgie's chances were over-hyped anyway.

She wasn't really close to beating Matt in their series (if you look at the voting figures). And there are much tougher opponents than him in All Stars.

Even with a different partner, I doubt she'd have finished higher than 4th or 5th.

She was up against some big characters tonight though, she might have done better if she had been in next weeks group

The reason she's gone is because she couldn't resist taking cheap shots at Sylvain's real life partner. In doing so she demonstrated silly, childish, playground behaviour - hardly conducive to creating a successful partnership with Sylvain or engaging the audience.

She might well cry - she brought it on herself.

That is true. But with a different partner at least there would have been some stronger female celebs. I always liked Hayley in her series, but seeing against Jorgie, I think she was week. Pleasantly surprised that Bonnie is good.

I half wondered if Hayley was only "ok ish" on purpose so she can come back and wow everyone next round. Trying not to peak too soon or be the obvious front runner that people get sick of if you catch my drift

Jorgie skated well and seemed to be having a joke about an awkward pairing. She seems a lot nicer than some of you nasty people on here

Her 'light-hearted' remarks made the situation much more awkward than it should have been. I don't know how old she is, but she came across as very immature. I'd like to think this situation would make her think about her own behavior, but I suspect she'll just blame it all on nasty, evil Sylvian, and be backed up by her Hollyoaks mates! *rolleyes*

Feel free to call me nasty - she tried to be clever at the expense of Sylvain and Samia: it backfired - she paid the price.

Tough.

I know what you mean. Hayley's success was more to do with her relationship with Dan (and that iconic Jai Ho routine). Her skating's not that strong. We really needed Clare or Laura taking part to challenge Suzanne. Was Beth any good last year? I gave up after week one!

Exactly, thats not nasty, its what happened

I didn't want Jorgie to go and wouldn't have voted her off for her VT. But I can totally see why others might

I disagree, I think if Sylvian had laughed it off and hadn't taken everything so seriously then it wouldn't have been awkward. I think he came across terribly and was the immature one. It's a shame he spoiled it for Jorgie.
