I don't think he hates women, but i do hate it when people say how women should behave. Why is there a rule ? they should be able to behave anyway they like.

I agree, women are not special, they should behave how they like.

And yet you quoted ME, from a post where I clearly had already addressed the difference and stated that what he really was is a sexist. YOU replied to that as if you were correcting ME on my use of the term sexism. Go back and look at your own previous post and what you quoted me on.

I am not sure the OP cares. I think s/he will be back under the bridge listening to the sound of trip-trotting.

This is the second time you have pulled me up where there is nothing to see.
I am not correcting anyone just replying to what is a wrong statement in the opening post.

Stop being so touchy.

Evander is actually 52 - he was winding Luisa up.

As for Lionel .........FGS he is simply a gentile old man. His manners and morals were formed in a different age ...........to say he's mysognystic is just plain silly (not directed to the poster above) - I think a lot of people on here do rather like to use their PC terminology to look clever. It might be an idea to look up the meaning before making such silly and outlandish comments.

There are rules in all walks of life, in order for us to rub along together. Whether it is a woman or a man, I would object to that sort of language in mixed company. It is only respectful to the company you are in not to spout filth is such a crass way. I am happy to listen to a risqué joke but without all the expletives.

He's being sexist. Men are always allowed to swear but if a woman does it, it's somehow impolite and 'dishonourable'. Lionel is too old for the show and quite frankly his rudeness to Jasmine means that he should **** OFF.

How exactly was he rude to her? She on the other hand was incredibly rude and disrespectful - not just to Lionel but to Sam and Oli too ...........Dappy seemed to be getting off on her vulgarity.

Lionel has been incredibly polite to everyone in there. And why is he too old for the show? Personally I find the younger 'show offs' going all out to shock incredibly boring. There is room for everyone in there.

Sorry, I did not read the section of your comment where you said not directed at the poster above and hence the edit. I assumed you were referring to me with regards Lionel being mysognystic. When I said that he was in his Eighties and came from the old school, where Showbusiness Acts conducted themselves professionally (when in public). So very different from Dappy showing his bits on TV and then making sure Jasmine knew exactly how he was packed. Rather vomit inducing and I do prefer Lionel's version of celebrity. By the way, I do apologise for believing Evander was 62, thought he looked good for his age.

Sorry, I admit to believing Evander when he said he was 62, but can you please tell me where I have stated that Lionel is mysognystic? I actually said that he was in his eighties and of an age when Showbusiness Artists conducted themselves professionally (in public). This was after I commented on Dappy flashing his private parts and making sure Jasmine knew exactly what was on offer, which I must admit I found vomit inducing.”

I quoted your post re the age thing - and then I went on to make a point of saying NOT THE POSTER ABOVE. Perhaps I should have quoted more clearly. I though I made it plain that I wasn't referring to you.

How ridiculous. Personally I find it disgusting if a man or a woman swears.

He's been a very well known name in showbusiness for over 50+ years. How long will this unknown person last for? And she's such a very good role model for young girls, isn't she?!!!!
"In 2010, she was accused of punching Lindsay Lohan in the face on her 24th birthday in a jealous fury over Danny Cipriani"

And "In October 2010, Jasmine was thrust into the spotlight after David Arquette admitted during a radio interview that he had slept with Jasmine while he was married to actress Courtney Cox."

It seems like you condone that sort of behaviour?

Sorry Penny my mistake. When I posted it I saw your comment and tried to edit it straight away, but we got caught between postings.

I have yet to see any example of Lionel being misogynistic.

It's entirely reasonable that anyone of any age would be offended/shocked by the vulgarity of someone shouting "Fingerbang each other", with an accompanying gesture, just to ensure we got the idea.

No problems, it was my mistake and nice that we both have similar views with regards Lionel.

Interesting to note that he didn't have a similar reaction when Dappy was talking about how big his cock was.

I don't think he was shocked though, I think he was playing offended to create a story, remember he has done reality before and is desperate to be in the limelight and still part of showbiz.

I bet he gets offended by something else soon...

Not really ............I can see a distinction between the two subjects. Hard to put into words really but the two are different to me. I also think he's probably acclimatising a bit now - he's seen the depths that conversations can and do plummet to in the house - I don't think he said anything too shocking - just added his two pennorth. I don't think it's his intention to come across as an old dinosaur he was simply a bit taken aback on Friday night that the topc of conversation could take a turn to something so 'lewd' within hours of meeting someone.

I don't agree 100%, yes he may be getting acclimatised but he thinks he knows "how to give good telly" I bet he is trying to create drama all the way through, Hence his challenge to Liz, I think there will always be a bit of Lionel "controversy"

Frankly he is of a limited talent and desperate to keep his name in lights any way he think he can..
His name dropping is irksome and boring - yet again riding on others coat tails.

So what, it is his opinion and to be honest she made herself look stupid talking like she did. There are lots of people in the world who have old views even going back to slavery times.People dont have to change their minds on their views just because someone says they should.

Of course he's not of limited talent.......his career spans many decades and he was a successful and well paid performer. He is now in his eighties and more or less retired ............he was invited onto CBB for a presumably large fee. He'd have been mad to turn it down. I don't think for one minute he's desperate to keep his name in lights. I think this will simply make his retirement a little more comfortable.
