Dappy is basically a more talented, urban Harry Styles

I wonder if Harry Styles would be getting so much hate

Very ignorant. Just because you're not a fan of something or don't understand it, doesn't make people talentless. I'm not a fan of cricket or astrophysics but i'm sure the successful people in those fields are talented

Ignorant ? because people don't have same view as you ! Hmmmmm Where to start on this.
Well......Harry Styles wouldn't behave like Dappy - not on or off Big Brother - therein lies the difference - no comparison. Harry Styles has the likeability factor for obvious reasons, and a much larger worldwide fanbase and a much wider demographic age following for his band's music too by the way.

It's hard life for them having a prat of a dad.

Dappy is probably a nice guy deep down. But he is desperate for the publicity it seems and he is determined to get as much as possible. Hope he settles down in the coming days.

I remember when he was on Never Mind The Buzzcocks, before N-Dubz became really big. They were talking the piss a bit because he was a bit of a div but he was happy to play along then which I kind of admired. Not sure if it's because the success has changed him but he seems like an even bigger div now. Not even a likeable div.

Oh please, rap isn't a talent! It's an excuse for council estate delinquents to say they're "cultured".

Why is Dappy always referred to as a rapper when he's actually more of a singer and Fazer was the main rapper in the band?

I'm in my 40's and can't believe the sneering at rap on here. Rap has been about as a music form since I was at school and there have been some fantastically talented rappers over the years. To dismiss it as 'chav' or 'council estate' music is showing ignorance in the extreme

Careful rupert. I wouldn't want you to face the not inconsiderable wrath of the 'Directioners'.

Obviously I think 1D are hugely talented chaps in a proper band who make outstanding music and can do no wrong, and I cannot stand people who say that they are just a bunch of rather talentless pop puppets who dance to the strings of their SyCo masters or are a marketing masterpiece that get's rich off impressionable 'no know better' tween girls.

I mean come on. How dare you mention King Harry in the same breath as Dappy. What were you thinking.

Just looking out for you here Mr Pumpkin. Be safe.

Firstly, I believe he's a 26 year old father of two, which in my opinion makes him neither 'a young lad', nor a 'boy'.

Secondly, he is currently appearing on a particular genre of TV show in which the general public tends to vote for who has entertained them the most, thereby keeping that person in the show longer and eventually possibly being voted the outright winner. I believe this is considered a form of judgement.

So, hypothetically speaking, if I were to consider him the most entertaining of all the HM's, I would be judging him, which is what you are saying I shouldn't do and the implication of that is for me to simply ignore his presence and thereby not vote for him to stay. Ok, got it - thanks.

PS. I think the word 'badly' in your OP may have helped you get your point across more strongly, but it wouldn't have made any difference to my opinion of him, as I think he's an insipid little man-child who needs to pull his trousers up, stop mugging to camera and desist picking his nose, fiddling with his penis and generally behaving like a pint size version of Ron Jeremy.

Quote from Ian Hyland..........

Most eyes though are on street rapper and unused eighth dwarf Dappy.

An early Sacha Baron Cohen prototype who came into the house vowing to repaint the picture the evil media has created of him, yet who so far has merely added some tasty background and colour.

Dappy has provided my highlight though.

When Liz Jones (Gobby the house ghost) said being handcuffed to him was like being “handcuffed to Prince” Dappy’s face suggested he was thinking: “Ah yeah, cool. A musical genius who has delighted millions with his talent.”

Meanwhile everyone else was just thinking: “Yeah, a shortarsed weirdo in a daft shirt.”

Couldn't have put it any better.

I'm a younger lad than him, can I judge him?

Anyway, he isn't the only one getting flack. Jasmine, Luisa and Lee are just as bad in terms of trying to be "outrageous".

Don't have a major problem with Dappy except I cant work out what he is saying a lot of the time. Maybe he just mumbles or its the yoof speak I'm struggling with.
