James Arthur clearly isn't homophobic and hasn't made such disgusting, uneducated comments about gay people.

Rylan was absolutely spot on with what he said, and just because he's the presenter I don't see why that should stop him from expressing his opinions in all honesty.

James' comments were different, but not without disgust and vitriol behind them.

Although I don't like violence, I have to agree with you. Rylan is really being shown up by Ian Lee - who is intelligent, can think on his feet, says words of more than two syllables and actually has experience.

And James knows that it was wrong, but no offense was intended at all and he has since apologized for it. The rap diss wasn't meant to be homophobic in any way and if you knew about rapping styles then you'd know this.

Of course offence was intended! The entire purpose of his "rap diss" was to offend someone who was clearly riling him up. The words he chose to say, publicly, were homophobic - he wanted to insult someone and in his narrow mind calling someone gay is an insult. He has only apologised and said it was wrong of him because it started negatively affecting his record sales.
