Day 4: The UFO task arrives in the garden

Intergalactic! Planetary!

Before they'd even woken up, things were a bit weird in the House. Flashing lights and weird noises greeted housemates at 0754 hours today.

From there, things only got weirder as Big Brother turned on the lights, announcing that aliens have landed in the garden of the Big Brother House. That's bona fide aliens – the type that come from another planet. Mega!

Handily, the aliens may well fancy testing our housemates in an abduction type scenario which will provide us with a double-whammy. Firstly, we'll get to be entertained by some traumatic celeb experiments and secondly, if the HMs perform well, they might earn themselves some decent grub.

That's what you call an intergalactic, win-win situation. Cosmic!

Day 4: The Task Bruises Some Egos




If there's anything that's a sure sign of a wild task to come, it's a giant UFO landing in the garden.

This afternoon's antics have been an absolute blast so far, and the task has been filled with hilarious and scandalous highlights.

Liz's initial shock after walking into a spaceship filled with neon lights and bleeps and bloops has only intensified; the green extra-terrestrial quizmaster hasn't helped much.

Luisa and Jasmine's egos have been put to the test at the mercy of the viewing public. Presented with comments pulled from Twitter, they were asked to decide who was being talked about - and they didn't always get the answers they were hoping for.

The gang have also been getting a little stir crazy while they've been cooped up in the ship. There have been press-up competitions, handstands, a few games of water bottle bowling and, of course, animal noises.

Day 4: Mr Davidson Goes to Dinner

This afternoon's task is heading into its final stage, and the aliens have made a request: they want to have dinner with the finest specimen of human celebrity. Any ideas? If you guessed "Jim Davidson," you're correct (well, in the eyes of the aliens, at least).

Accordingly, Jim has dressed in his finest pinstriped suit. Check out the size of those pinstripes! Blinding.

It's not all fun and games, however. The aliens will be grilling him with questions, and Jim's task will be to answer them as politely as possible while eating the grotesque delicacy that they serve him. How grotesque, you ask? How about an alien head? Yeah, thought so.

Don't worry: it's not a real head (duh). It's made of unpleasant, but edible, ingredients: the green jellied brains are pig brain; the eyes are boiled pigs eyes; the tongue is filled with puss (dyed fermented stinky tofu); and the ear wax is made from Japanese Nato beans.
