when he came in the house first, my first impression was I thought he would make an interesting housemate ....

Sleazy is a good way to describe him! I also thought the same as you about him, I thought he'd be interesting and I actually went away from launch night actually liking him. He is sort of creepy though... can't say he's doing much to clear his name!

I'm the other way around. When he arrived I saw the silly trousers and I heard the silly accent which left me feeling like he was going to be a bit of a prat. However after watching him a few days I find him to be inoffensive, harmless and just trying to have a laugh while enjoying his Big Brother experience.

He hasn't done anything to improve my pre-CBB opinion of him. But there's time.

If you expected anything but this then you obviously knew nothing about him before he came in.

He's confirmed my views on him which is that he's in the top 10 worst humans in the world.

What annoys me so much about him is that this is (in his own words) him trying to show everyone how decent of a guy he is. He actually believes that the way he acts is OK.

I guarantee that we haven't seen the worst of him yet though, far from it.

Lol Dappy's harmless. I really don't understand everyone's reactions to him, he just strikes me as a young lad having a laugh, enjoying his time in BB. I haven't seen anything that suggests to me he's a bad person. Can't flirt for toffee, but if that was a crime half the guys in Britain would be banged up

What im understanding from this thread is he sleazy for flirty with jasmine who gives as good as she gets well does that make all humans sleazy as millions of men and woman flirt and I think it more creepy if you dont flirt with people your attracted too

I meant in the house. I'm aware of his history, but I for one judge HMs on how they are in BB, and so far he's been relatively pleasant. I don't see him as creepy at all. His attempt at flirting on night 1 were cringy, but for the most part his flirting, as crass and blunt as it may be, has been reciprocated by Jasmine. Everyone's acting like he's a predator that's attacking her, which I have seen no evidence of.

He hasn't managed to change my opinion of him since being in the house, he certainly hasn't achieved his aim of showing me he's a "decent guy" or "entertaining". I find him beyond cringe-worthy but only marginally more than Jasmine because, as you say, she seems to be enjoying it. The whole display is hide-behind-your-hands embarrassing.

The teeth-chattering, sure, but the bit in the bed seemed like standard young-person flirting. People are a bit more forward these days. I thought the two of them together were funny, I didn't find it cringy or wrong at all.

Oh, for sure, and I'm sure there are many other girls that would. His plan is not fail-safe But there are also many girls who do respond to it, and many guys who take this approach, and do so successfully. They way Jasmine and Dappy had been with each other before probably made it fairly clear to Dappy she might not be one of those girls who'd 'run for the hills' if he whapped his dong out. I had no idea who he was or anything about his history and i wanted to like him. He reminded me of the lovely chap in last years CBB, (can't remember his name but he was a rapper with many odd accents)who turned out to be a real sweetie. This does not seem to be the case with this Dappy person, so far he's coming across as a right sleaze bag with a penchant for bigging up (ahem) his own genitals. Yuck.

Abz, thanks for that, i was racking my brains! I'd never heard of him either and initially thought he was a right dork with his "in da hood" accents. I like to be proved wrong and i ended up voting him to win, he was a lovely gentle man. Maybe Dappy will win me over, not holding my breath!
