I have a iphone4 8gb and after months I finally succumbed to the ios7 and downloaded it. I deleted all my music and apps then installed it, logged into iTunes and downloaded all my albums again. Now my phone only being an 8Gb the space is limited and I have bought albums in the past but deleted them to make space, I selected to download all my music which I didn't think would be a problem because in the past to delete music I've just swiped it left to right (or vice versa can't remember which) and clicked delete. This option is now not there and I have no idea how to delete the music off my phone without connecting it to my computer (which is boks)

Any advice on how I can remove the music direct from my phone

Thanks

Had the same trouble, just ended up doing it on PC through itunes. It's all to do with the setting "show all music" and some songs are on iCloud and can't be deleted untill you download them. Swipe right to left should bring up delete.

For some reason you can only delete tracks individually using the phone by swiping right to left, for me personally I find it easier to just open iTunes on PC and select only sync selected albums/artists.
One thing if you not aware of in iOS 7 is that even when tracks that were purchased on iTunes are deleted they still remain as available tracks as they can be streamed over WiFi or mobile data from iCloud.
