What a fool Evander is, has lots of young fans around the world who looked up to him, i'm sure gay fans too, completely ruined his friendly every man image he had in just a few minutes of absolute lunacy, Evander has appeared on WWE Raw before, well he won't be invited back.

This will hurt his chance of being a spoke person for many charities, he does a lot of charity work, well that will now dry up as nobody wants a homophobe representing them, I guess the christian zealots in mid/south America will love him though

It all depends how America Media react
If GLAD get in on this in America he really will have problems.

If he suffers financially he could try suing Ch4 for airing it.

I hope his reputation is in tatters, it's what he deserves. However, I don't think America will be up in arms about his comments. Many areas of the US still aren't as tolerant towards the gay community, especially when compared to the UK/Europe.

No he won't.
For obvious reasons.

I think he'll be fine if he just heads back to America among all the people who think the same way he does. I certainly think he'll be avoiding the UK from now on though.

The person most to blame for all this is probably his agent/manager. They're the one who are supposed to have his best interests at heart and he should have been more aware of what CBB was about.
What were they thinking? lol

Why would he sue them? Aside from the fact it's CH5 who aired it ...... they didn't force the words in his mouth ....

Why do you revel in others misfortune. I just don't get it. For God's sake, irrespective of whether or not you agree with him..why the need for the righteous damnation, it is utterly repugnant to me.

Oh, here we go! You'll do anything to argue with me. Fair play, you criticize me over my comments on Linda Nolan, but you're really clutching at straws if you're criticizing me for saying that. He was a bigot and implied gay people were comparable to the handicapped... So yes, I hope his career is completely destroyed and irreparable.

You rather proved Scarlett's point with the BIB.

Hoping that someone's life is completely destroyed sounds like the actions of someone who enjoys or revels in the misfortune of others.

Think.

He'll be fine. Thankfully most people aren't that easily offended, despite what the tabloids say.

As he agreed that his comments could be deemed offensive, he hasn't really got any chance re litigation.

I totally understand how offensive his comments must have been to gay people however I think you should always let the individual in question respond to your feelings before damning them, who knows maybe you could change their viewpoint that way? and if not and they still choose to be ignorant, well then at least you tried!

I would have thought BB has rights to show conversations and live feed at any time, that's what these people sign up to and get paid for. I would find it very hard to believe anyone could sue BB.

He was only expressing his opinion. Since when are we not allowed freedom of speech? I'm sure it will all be forgotten about once he leaves BB.

To an extent it will effect him but it is by no means in tatters. He is not a TV presenter wanting people to watch his show or a musician wanting people to listen to his music.

He is a man who fought for a living. Im sure there are plenty of fighters who have done a lot worse.

Hell you were speaking about WWE. Mike Tyson spent 3 years in prison for Rape and is in the WWE Hall Of Fame (Celebrity Wing). Homphobia is wrong but just a drop in the water compared to a rape conviction. WWE was a PG product when they inducted Tyson into the Hall Of Fame too.

He will feel a backlash but by no means is it in tatters

Nice how you celebrate how he will no longer be able to do the "LOT" of charity work he does

Evander's reputation will be fine.

His career and achievements transcends anything stupid he says in Big Brother. You have to remember we're judging him with UK standards (and rightly so), but his thoughts are commonplace in other huge boxing markets such as (vast parts of) the USA and the Far East.
