You are right. And when I think about it, a lot of bisexual men are as butch as Evander.

That's a horrible stereotype.

I’m not going to discus Lionel’s sexuality as he is publicly straight. But lots of men both camp and butch can have bisexual love lives while maintaining long and happy marriages and raising children. I could list them but we’d be here all day.

On an entirely unrelated and off topic note has anyone seen Independence Day recently?

Anyway, getting back on topic. Ollie has declared himself bisexual but has also stated that he has had lots of girlfriends and in the same conversation said that he had been with only two guys AND that he had never slept with a guy. All of which shows the complexity of such things.

In fact it is perfectly possible to be bisexual and only ever have relationships with one gender. There are even many people who identify as entirely straight but have had sexual encounters with their own gender.

Behaviour and activity are not the same thing.

Bring it on, kiss me there.”

I don't think commenting on one incident can be called 'a stereotype'. I thought they looked uncomfortable and very unaccustomed when they had to kiss. It took them about three goes before they managed to lock lips.

Well I consider myself exclusively gay but I’ve had sexual encounters (but not full sex) with about twenty women over my lifetime. The fact is, during my twenties I was a randy bugger so often had fun with whoever was free and willing at the time.

Never did I think that this in any way challenged my identity as a gay guy. Now I’m older, I only go with people I’m genuinely interested in. Which means only men.

It seemed to me that Luisa was more experienced in that area, but didn't want to come across too keen, so pretended she was shy etc. She already planted the seed.

It's worth stressing that while about 6% of people are gay and another 7% identify as bisexual leading to a total Gay and Bi percentage of about 13% surveys indicate that up to 25% of 18-40 year olds admit to same sex encounters.

'Being bisexual for attention' is a definite stereotype, that's what I was referring to.

Luisa said she is attracted to both sexes and has done things with both in the past. Why isn't that valid?

Now I don't think Jasmine has stated the same, perhaps I'm wrong there? She could be for all we know but kissing someone in truth or dare doesn't make you bisexual regardless.

You have reminded me that there are parts of the world where only the passive partner is considered gay. The penetrator remains het.

Turkey and Brazil spring to mind.

I read on Lee's wiki that he's bisexual. Apparently he and Duncan James had a bit of a fling.

Lee admits they shared girls in the past, but has never said he and Duncan had a fling or that he identifies as bisexual.
