Iain is the main presenter, with Rylan as a co host when he's on - Rylan is not excellent in the role of presenter at all, in my opinion and I don't think he's improved since AJ went, he looks kind of strained and just overacts all the time - surely they can find someone better than him ! he's had his day.

I didn't think anyone could replace Auntie Davina on the main show but "Our Emma" has done it - Brian didn't quite tick the boxes for me.

I think Rylan is doing a great job and he is still learning the ropes and this where "Our Emma" comes in. She's watching and guiding him ( well I like to think she is).

I presumed this thread was a joke when I read the title.

tbh I thought Rylan HAD got the gig full-time and was surprised to see Emma last night. I completely disagree that he's wooden - he's naturally charasmatic, and his presenting style is natural, exuberant and effortless, perfect for BOTS. Considering, afaik he's had no previous experience, I think he'll just get better and better.

It wasn't "...give me a cheeky little like...", it was "...give us..." as in a like for This Morning, all the presenters in The Hub refer to giving This Morning a Facebook like.

I personally find Rylan better at interacting with the guest panel and bringing energy to the late night show.

Emma seems better at interacting with the audience they seem to find it more comfortable chatting with her than when Rylan pounces in.

Emma questioning the panel bores me, I think she is a bit too luvie with them not really pursuing anything. I lost interest in her obvious love fest with Matt Johnson and her favourite Neighbours actors.

Both Rylan and Emma have great knowledge of previous Big Brothers that they can draw on and I think you would struggle to find people that could replace them with that depth of knowledge.

Iain and Rylan are a great team together because they can give the questions that require good previous Big Brother series knowledge to Rylan, I don't think Iain wouldn't be able to discuss those issues in such detail. Leaving Iain free to do his cutting remarks about this series housemates.

Emma's BBBOTS aren't live, they record them in the afternoon and they deliberately don't show the background screen clock at the end when they go to the room to read out the Tweets. Rylan is always there when they need live BBOTS after a live eviction show and the background screen clock can come back at the end of the show.

Although I also noticed (and another poster mentioned it) her show seemed to drag on a bit. Maybe it is fatigue from being involved with the Voice or maybe I'm just comparing it to the Rylan shows and his excess energy.

Mine too.

On no! I have to switch off when Rylan comes on anything. He's too OTT. Strange because I loved him in CBB.
