Will be talking about his new show "Ice" and DOI. Think he'll be on after 9am.

If you didn't see it you didn't miss anything. He barely mentioned DOI.

In fairness I think they were running late and the programme went straight off quite abruptly after Robin's interview, they had already mentioned they were over-running when the previous interview (recorded one with The Voice coaches) had finished.

He mentioned his own show, his role as choreographer and director, the challenges of putting ice moves on a relatively small surface in theatres, the way ice surfaces are constructed, something about this being the last DOI and wanting to make it memorable, and the fact that ITV have given him a fortnight off DOI to commentate and mentor competitors at the Olympics.

Thanks so much for posting.

That was a really good interview! He got everything in, what a Pro!

Though couldn't the caption have said "Figure Skater" instead of "Ice Dancer". If the BBC called a Rubgy Union player Rugby League, there'd be complaints. But we Skating Fans are just grateful to see an interview on TV.

Ollie Williams has been Tweeting that the BBC will cover everything from Sochi on BBC2 and online, so hopefully, as it's on a European timezone, we'll be able to watch all the Skating events.

I wonder if ITV will ask Nicky Slater back to cover for Robin? They should!

Nicky comments for Eurosport - I imagine he will be there too?

I don't think Eurosport have any Olympic coverage this year.
