For a good while the sun wouldn't touch bb or cbb at all. Getting alot more publication it would seem now.

Almost every newspaper / magazine / website had dropped Big Brother when Channel 5 got it - due to obvious reasons. But it's been everywhere this series. Would think it's good news for future BB's.

Yup, on their website they've got a CBB "Latest from the House" type banner thing. Definitely more interested in it this year...

Radio 1 were talking about it this afternoon! (On Scott's show but he's currently away) Can't remember what was said exactly - but they were just generally commenting that all the celebs are a bit uninhibited this year.

It appears so! However the media in general have been very supportive of BB since BB14. I remember last summer they had live blogs on the sun and daily mirror websites during the launch and final. However it seems press has really picked up for this series

It's funny how the media seems to be beginning to favour Big Brother again. They've shown interest in CBB for the past couple of years but this year it seems to be really taking off. As you say, lets hope it carries over to the civilian series. The best thing C5 can do now is reinstate the live feed for the summer (no, my entire post isn't a rouse to ask for LF back) which will give the media something to report on which people may not have caught in the highlight shows.
