A human isn't the most dangerous animal

What's Liz Jones talking about, she has no clue.

A human isn't the most dangerous animal, I know some of you will think we are, but that's with guns and weapons. A monkey can use a gun, people in Africa have monkeys with machetes as guards!

But if I said a human was fighting a animal you'd always assume the human had the weapon, you wouldn't think of a animal having one.

No doubt a tiger is the most dangerous breathing thing and animal on Earth. Even against guns they won't always lose, one tiger in India killed over fourteen armed men inside a jungle.

After one Siberian tiger was shot in the paw he avenged himself by killing Vladimir Markov and his 14 trained hunting guard dogs. Could a human equal seven lions? because Clyde Beatty's Sumatran tiger Chester defeated than many by himself. Rex, a Bengal tiger survived ten lions, killing four and escaping without a scratch.

A tiger is 30% stronger than a lion in multiple joints, has the largest canine teeth of any land carnivore, retractable razor sharp claws. Also a bear's body is 20.5% muscle, a tigers body is 58.8% muscle.

Anyway sorry for going on and on. Just thought you should know that. I guess in general a human might be, as we have guns. But an unarmed human will lose to a tiger 100% of the time, even if it's Bruce Lee. We can definitely say a tiger is the most dangerous BREATHING thing on Earth.

Of course the Human is the most dangerous animal, he has what no other creature has

the power of reason

He doesn't have to confront anything more powerful than him

He can kill it from the other side of the planet if he so wishes

Humans are by far the most dangerous (and worst) animal, maybe not the strongest in a straight fight with some animals. But capable of destroying every animal, human and the planet....which they are.

I'm talking about an unarmed human against a tiger.

But thanks for the replies.

Strength is just one factor. Do you think a Tiger could beat a Polar Bear in the icy expanses of the Arctic?

Probably responsible for more deaths than all the tigers, bears and machete carrying monkeys put together.

Yeah we could tell from the OP that's what you were talking about.
But that's not what the housemates were talking about.

Not to be confrontational Adam but my only problem with your post is that you start with a rant about Liz being clueless but then proceed to show that you really haven't a clue about the context of her comments

I was just wondering whether will there ever be a boy born who can swim faster than a shark?

the blue shark is the fastest shark - a real life Marine Boy would be something worth watching (Patrick Duffy was Marine Boy was he not?)

If people in Africa have monkeys with machetes (never heard of this) surely they've been trained by humans?

It's pretty obvious that humans are the most destructive mammals in the world. Not that I have a Disney-fied view of animals, I know they kill each other (despite what Roald Dahl says in that much quoted BFG line) and plenty of species would like to kill us given the chance, but we humans are definitely the worst!

Last time I went to London Zoo (decades ago and it was so depressing I vowed never again btw) there was a big sign saying "The most dangerous animal in the world" and, anyone going closer to see what it was, would see themselves reflected in a huge mirror. I don't know if it's still there.

I thought it was a widely accepted fact - for example:- http://weknowmemes.com/wp-content/up...-the-world.jpg

OMG that has taken me back. I used to have an almighty crush on the cartoon Marine Boy. I had completely forgotten but I honestly did fancy him in so much as a 6 or 7 year old fancies anyone/thing.

Thanks for the reminder Sandy.
