I do wish the constant moaners about this programme would just stop watching it. There seems to be some that clearly want to have a go at it whatever they try to do. As a sociological experiment it is quite amusing, as long as they are all paying their taxes, I couldn't give a monkeys how they behave. I can sit back and judge them at my leisure.

The over the top reaction to the pseudo-sex is ludicrous. It is no worse than "When Harry met Sally" or the Carry On films.

I only wish they could give Liz Jones a bit more air-time before she gets the boot.

i havent moaned (yet lol) but i did switch off last night. I have watched BB since the beginning so i have seen more than my fair share of crap tv lol (Josie and the duvet?) but i have never switched off before. As has been said in many other threads its all about balance, in any show you get good bits, bad bits and inbetween bits and my interpretation of good bad and inbetween is not going to be the same as everyone else. Therefore you have to have something for everyone, for me last nights show didnt, it was just Dappy perving over the girls, the girls acting up so dappy could perv and therefore they all get more airtime. I loved Luisa in TA despite her voice which to me is like nails on a chalkboard, but i dont think this is doing her any favours in being taken seriously as a business woman.

Why should people switch off. Moaning is a national passtime and you always need something to moan about. I would therefore say that having something to moan about makes this required viewing. After all, if you cut out all the moaning from Digital Spy there wouldn't be a forum left.

Exactly, and you could say if you don't like the moaning on Digital Spy you could stop reading it and switch off...

Exactly. There is a difference between moaning and expressing an opinion, having a discussion on a certain occurrence.

It's fun discussing things, that's why we are here isn't it, on a discussion board?

Possibly not great for her business but a few tens of thousands of pounds for a 3 week vacation isn't too untidy.

If that is true, they should have filled the house with Bulgarian and Romanian lapdancers.

That would probably be more interesting.

You should pitch the idea to C5.

You seem to be confusing this discussion forum with an appreciation thread if you don't mind me saying so OP.

Also, aren't you doing precisely what you are so opposed to others doing - ie moaning?

I see where you are heading. The answer is, no.

Stop moaning and log off.

It works both ways.

Making a thread complaining about things on here that annoy you is no different to making a thread complaining about things on the show that annoy you. The difference is, we're here to discuss Big Brother, and you really shouldn't come to a discussion board and expect all praise.

"Don't like what you see? Switch off".

Well, don't like what you read? Log off.

I agree with the OP.

Why do people watch if they cant stand it?

I don't think it's necessarily they can't stand the show as a whole, just certain aspects of it.

I didn't enjoy last nights show so should I stop watching? No, of course not, I may enjoy tonight's. It all depends on what is shown.

I'm not particularly fascinated watching two females and Dappy in a bath tub acting like 12yr olds. But that doesn't mean I should switch off.

I might not be quite getting you. Some people bang on about a programme for 3 weeks but still continue to watch?

It wont let me quote for some reason?

@BlueStreak - I also agree with you too, lol By all means moan about housemates and tasks etc.. But my comment is more aimed at people creating threads like 'worst bb ever' and 'I hate this series' ect.

It hasn't been three weeks yet.

My point is that you're complaining about people who moan about the show yet still watch, while you moan about certain opinions on the forum yet still visit it.

If you don't want to see certain opinions, ignore them. Being a BB fan doesn't mean you should be expected to love it all the time and speak nothing but praise for it. These places were made for people to be able to express their views, negative and positive.

I'll agree about people who just don't like the show but watch just to moan, but most of the complaining on here comes from actual fans.

Yes, this ^ Some people moan about every single part of the show. You've got to wonder why they bother watching?!

They are the people the thread was aimed at, glad we agree that they exist.

That was my first thought too. I can tolerate criticism of the show on a debate forum dedicated to it. What I don't like is seeing posters be criticised for intolerance, ironically by posters who aren't tolerant themselves of different viewpoints. Almost every poster who's OK with the raunchy stuff last night has resorted to criticisms of other posters instead of discussing the show itself: too prudish, too PC, too unrealistic, too moany...etc etc.

And for the record OP, I DID switch over last night. But I'll carry on posting here all the same, thanks.

I only expressed a wish, no biggie. If all my wishes came true I would win the lottery tonight.

Just not getting the downers that like to moan, is all.

No live feed, so there's nothing else to talk about

We have to rely soley on their highly biased spoon fed tweets, and they are barely 4 or 5 an hour

Saying that, I will be switching over briefly tonight as apparently there's
Spoiler
yet more information dripped in from the outside world
which is one of my bugbears of the show in this era

But you are moaning yourself. I don't like being told to switch off if I don't like it. I've been watching it since the beginning and every series has good and bad. If I want to post on here and complain about the juvenile antics for the cameras I will.
