I haven't actually paid TOO much attention to CBB this year, but I was honestly surprised by this,

on the BBSpy favourite housemate poll, Sam is leading with 40.2%, I thought she was a bit boring? I don't really get how she has such a strong lead. (Ollie is 2nd with 17.8%)

She has a huge TOWIE backing, add that with the fact she seems to be more normal and nice than any other TOWIE person we have had on a reality show, it should be a good mix.

She seems pretty lovely so far, so I'm pleasantly surprised she's popular. Presumably she's well liked on TOWIE?

She's probably the most popular TOWIE female.

I'm surprised she's ahead in that poll though, she's hardly had any airtime at all yet, I suppose we must not ignore the Towie massive, although it didn't help Kirk much.

Sam is probably one of the most liked TOWIE cast members.

I hope we see more of Sam, she appears to be very nice.

I hope we see more of Ollie, Lionel, Jim, Linda and Liz to for that matter.

She seems quite nice. I had never seen or heard of her before CBB, but she seems like a really nice person (from the little we have seen of her)

I knew nothing about her last weekend and still know nothing about her. I did see someone else say on a thread here, however, that she was guilty of bullying Joey Essex (her ex, apparently) quite badly on TOWIE. Does anyone know if that's true?

Not true. She got overly jealous and maybe set out to hurt him as she felt she had been hurt. But no bullying. I think she loved Joey A LOT.

But remember its mostly set up for our entertainment!

She was clearly cast because the powers that be wanted a repeat of the draw of draw of Charlotte, even though the actual person involved this time is quite different. Nevertheless, displaced young female reality stars get a lot of automatic support on ANY competition reality show.

Not that she doesn't also appear to be a genuinely nice girl (unlike Charlotte, who's just a big mouth loosely attached to a small brain).

She has something about her! I've never watched TOWIE and don't ever plan to, but she is one of my favorites for some reason. She's extremely likeable.

It's the sympathy vote for having to be handcuffed to jasmine and nearly getting her wrist broken!

She seems nice enough, but she's overshadowed in there. Maybe when the numbers dwindle she'll shine more, maybe she'll just coast through on her TOWIE fame. Either way, she hasn't annoyed me as much as I expected.

I wouldn't be as bothered with Sam winning as I was with the ghastly Charlotte though. At least Sam behaves like a human.

From the small bits they've shown of Sam I quite like her . I don't watch TOWIE so don't know much about her

I've not been that keen on her in TOWIE since the Joey thing and the rumours surrounding their break up. But ......she seems really nice from the little we've seen on BB. I'd like to see a bit more TBH.

She is playing the long game say very little and win, it has worked before imo.

I think she's genuinely a little over awed at the moment.

Sonme people come out of their shells when the group gets smaller. She probably finds Jasmine and Luisa a bit overpowering.

She is nice, I wish we had seen a little more of her but she is coming across well enough. She handled the drunk Jasmine well on the first night...
