Asus PadFone series
I was just wondering if anyone here has any experience with any of these. I have the newest one (PadFone Infinity A86). I've had it since October with no issues after a terrible experience with a faulty PadFone 2. Thankfully my insurance paid out £450 so it only cost £200 to get the newer one which had just been released.
A brief overview of the specs........ 5 inch Android 4.2.2 that slots into a 1080p tablet Improved reception when docked into the tablet (with 5000mAh extra battery) Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor 2.2GHz quad-core 2GB ram 32GB storage 13MP camera, 2MP on the front LTE cat 4 ready I find it a truly fantastic phone and the convenience of having a phone that docks into a tablet is amazing. I don't think I could ever go back to having just a phone. I compare it to Randy Marshs famous quote from South Park "once you've seen Japanese girls puking in each others mouths you can hardly go back to Playboy" A very highly recommended product (by me) I'm on 3's SIM only One Plan. You really need unlimited internet for a product like this. |

I'm still on the PF2 but mine works fine. love it. Hopefully now they're releasing a padfone in the states, there's a chance for it to go more mainstream. And Samsung are rumoured to have something similar in the works.
The infinity is basically a HTC One specwise right? And yes to unlimited internet.
