Picking on Jim is not a good idea.
I think he would give 3 times as much back.

Not sure if he has done anything ti warrant attack from Linda.

I agree. where did that come from. she was being a bit of a drama queen. should have just ignored his comments rather than getting a harem of women to talk to about it. ott

She's knows she's only got the gig because Jim is there.
It's her role in the show to pick at him until he snaps.

As far as I can see, she started three times to tell him what he had done that annoyed her so much, and each time she was interrupted before she had got to the point, so who knows what he had done?

Exactly. Both Linda and Jasmine took the bait as he was obviously in the mood to wind people up. They took it too personally, rather than just thinking to themselves, "wow, what a prat!" Oh well they'll all be buddies again by tomorrow.

JD did really well not to take the bait.

We were treated to the same nastiness that Julie's husband had to endure.

Yep...seems like she's got her storyline all lined up. Same as Colleen with Julie. I really thought I was going to like her until her she gathered her little harem around her. I would've had more respect for her if she'd just argued her point with Jim face-to-face.

I don't want to get into the whole 'live feed' debate again but this is a prime example why this show doesn't really work without atleast a few hours of live feed a day because i just watched the last 3 episodes on Demand 5 and up until the diary room biut where she says there is some tension, there had been nothing bad shown between them, in fact all the footage of both of them had been them together and having nice conversations.
Its actually weird to watch the show then something comes up out of the blue even though it becomes clear that a lot had must of been happening that we haven't seen. Its annoying actually.

Its awful not having that live feed for 2 hours every night isn't it?

I sat up every night last summer watching live feed and realised more than ever last series how set up that hour of clips we get every evening at 9pm is,
channel 5 show you what they want you to see which is probably happening in this series as who like me remembers last summer seeing a different story really if you watched live feed every night!

I thought it was about her throwing his pillows on the floor and him remarking 'should he trample on them'. If it was that he did her a favour by not letting her tell the sorry & dull tale again.

She's already shown she's a Black Belt passive aggressive

I'd love to know what's at the heart of this dislike of Jim

Showbiz circle Hossip?

Close to someone who had something with Jim at some point?

He tried it on with one of them while JV showed his waistcoat

Or does he just represent a vulnerable time for her?

By her issues of him not respecting her I veer towards the last option

Who knows, whatever it is it isn't fair keeping it in, the 'you're an arsehole' bit was ok and half-panto to start with but it's a bit nasty now

Of course Jim hasn't done anything to warrant the attack from Linda. She obviously has some form of personal vendetta against Jim, and she's cleverly trying to break him. This sort of behaviour is coming from a woman who has apparently had such a "hard time" in life, yet she has no problem waging a hate campaign against a man who has also had it rough in recent years. She doesn't need to be careful, she needs to take a long, hard look in the mirror.

It's not so unusual to dislike Jim Davidson, is it?

Well said, especially the last bit. She was really harsh to Julie Goodyears hubby and I won't forget that. I think I already dislike her a bit more than Coleen but they seem similar.

She's told the others that she doesn't have a problem if they like him. Hardly a hate campaign.

It's called being protective over your sister. Julie was being nasty about Colleen and she understandably didn't like it. I'd think anyone would be the same if it came to their own flesh and blood.

Yes, so why carry on? Instead of leaving it at that, she resorted to insulting Jim, and they all laughed along with her like a pack of hyenas. Why didn't she speak to Jim in private about the issues she has with him? No she needed to be propped up by the girls like a tyrannical Queen laying down the law. Absolutely shocking.

It was certainly a rounding of the troops and for what, was ridiculous.

It's the same old Nolan thing, Colleen went in disliking Julie just like Linda with Jim. Why is she moaning about Jim joking about trampling his pillows Unless the housemates had made the pillows into a Linda effigy or something I don't see the problem.

It wasn't nice to watch but Jim did well to walk away.

Well I've only seen him on tv, like most people, and I have a lot of issues with his whole attitude and approach and nastiness .

I don't like him either, never could stand the man, but was willing to park my opinions aside and go on his behaviour in the house.

What's making me laugh now, is the poor Jim role that many are being fooled by.There was obviously a lot more going on than BB showed, but I live in hope they show a fairer unbiased edition on what led up to the situation with Linda.

What is all this 'gathering up' rubbish I keep reading? Did we see Linda go round and herd them all up to sit and listen to her?

We saw two small incidents over the course of the day - I daresay they were simply two of many very minor annoyances but enough to get you grrrring if there is no love lost between two people in the first place.

She was quite clearly upset and the people round her obviously asked her what she was upset about. She simply told them ............no drama - she simply said 'I don't like Jim - he doesn't like me but .......please don't let it effect your judgement on him'.

They asked - she answered. Jim walked in and also asked .................did she shy away and act all two faced? No - she told him in a very civilised way that she had a problem and - he walked away. The reason Jim walked away is because he has a temper - he is a miserable old sod and can't handle confrontation without getting nasty. It is well documented.

Two people don't get on. It happens.

Linda was asked and she told - why all the nastiness? Did she bitch? Did she snivel and go for the sympathy card? No.

All this gathering up her troops nonsense is misleading. Other HM's were round her bed as we've seen happen over the past few days. Maybe they congregate there simply because they like her - because she's nice. There's a thought.

I think some perspective is needed. There is a lot of spiteful hype written about Linda which is uncalled for IMO.

She's not a Saint but she's not a Devil either .......two people don't get on - it happens.
