Actually - reading between the lines it sounds like there is an issue over the bed. She says 'I'm not giving up this bed'. Obviously far more to it than we've seen

I really despair at the perceptions of some people .

The two have barely spoken to each other and there is no denying that he despised her being in the house from the beginning . So to try and pretend that his saying f**k is a joke is just absurd.

Jasmine certainly did not take it as a joke and she's the only person that matters in this scenario.

Will admit I've not read the whole thread, but as far as I could tell he SANG 'f**k off' to her as he didn't want her interrupting Lee's song. Whether she was going to or not, it's hard to say, but she does tend to barge in and not care about other people talking, so he may have been presuming.

I didn't see it as a serious thing, and I don't even like the bloke!

I can only suggest to those saying it was just a joke or he did it to stop Jasmine from interrupting Lee's, er crooning, and don't see it as him being negative and totally unprovoked towards her, that they watch it again.

I suspect if Jasmine did it to anyone else there may be a few less people defending her. Again, just a hunch.”

If Jasmine sang it, I'd probably assume she were not being serious

Probably the same reason I tell people too f*** off in work, or stick my middle finger up too them... It's a joke.

He sang it didn't he?? It's a joke ffs.

I have quite liked what I have seen of Jim the last few days but if I was being cynical I would say that Jim has a problem with Jasmine based on him blaming her for messing with Lee's head.In his world Jasmine has seduced the poor boy and made him unsure of his feelings for the nice girl Casey.None of it is Lee's fault and she walked past at the moment he was singing his little heart out.I don't think he can blame Lee.He hates the situation though but blames the women.I may be wrong but just my take on it

You would only do that to someone you are really familiar with though be honest.

I agree with you. He comes across to me as on a level with Lionel in his misogynistic take on the world. Men can swear and be base but women need to know their place.

Jim often says things are jokes or that he didn't mean any harm by them but I wonder how he would be if these things were directed at him. What if Jasmine had said 'f' off to him in very nearly identical circumstances? I don't think he would see the funny side.

You would think that wouldn't you, bit like discussing finger blasting - anyone normal would only do that with someone they were really familiar with.

You might say it to people you like and who understand you . You wouldn't say it to someone you despise and to whom you are barely on speaking terms.

Jim has not hidden the fact that he despises this brash American Jasmine and they've barely spoken.

I'm no fan of Jim but I saw it as yet another sign of editing to make some point. We have no idea what's happened berween Jasmine and Jim, they could just have had an argument for all we know.

As for the Linda thing...what a set up....she's lying there with all of them round her having a rant when in walks Jim. I almost cheered when he decided to walk away.

Interesting, other folks take on things

Shocker that was.

Dowling milking it for all it was worth.

I can't get why Jasmine was shocked by that as it was clearly meant not to disrupt Lee's intensesinging session Jasmine is loud so why be sensitive to a simple F word?

Not really, Well I don't see it that way. I'd probably do it too someone I just met (Not in a work situation though) and if they took offense I'd know that they've probably got a different sense of humor too me and apologize and explain that it's just me.

Which is what I think happened here. Jasmine didn't get it was directed as a joke and not as a genuine "f off" probably because she's american and they have different views on what's funny and what's not.

As for the Linda thing I think it's fairly obvious that there was something brewing. They have moved in the same circle for years ..........it was no coincidence that Linda said the only person she'd have a problem with was JD. It has been set up f
or this.

Of course Jim walked away .........we all know what has happened in the past when one or other of his wives have challenged him. Sorry but it's no good pretending dear old Jim is just a humourous lovely old comedian. It's very well documented what Jim is.

I said earlier that I was reserving judgement on him and I haven't seen anything too terrible from him - don't mean it's not happening though.

The way I saw it....Lee was singing....Jasmine wandering over. Given her loud mouth antics in the house Jim got in a pre-emptive stfu before she ruined the song.

This is confusing. Clearly people tell complete strangers to 'f' off, the point is if it was a joke it would only be to someone you knew very well and as Jim doesn't know Jasmine that well and anyway doesn't like her it obviously wasn't a joke.

What Jasmine talked about may have been in bad taste and upset some people but no one is defending it by saying it was a joke but it certainly wasn't personal and rude to just one individual.

Basically they aren't comparable IMO

I am thinking along these lines more and more.I didn't want to though.I know all the stories about Jim being sexiest and a little bit this and that and have never payed any attention to all that when watching him come into the house. It's a chance to see people for what they are and a new start from what we know.I notice way more people are blaming Lynda for having a problem with him,but we have seen so little. This BB in particular is hard to see a big picture of what is going on so far.I don't much care for Jasmine right now but she didn't do anything at the point he issued that comment. He's got some major issues brewing! They just seem to be popping out randomly. He's subtle though and he is clever.Doubt many will see what he is up too

They are comparable IMO.That was weird behaviour and conversations from her on the first night in the company of strangers so she certainly isn't an easily offended type and now they've been living together for a few days and in that time we've only see a few highlights shows. We've seen nothing really. She might have been laughing at his swearing, dirty jokes and stories and he might have thought he had her sense of humour down pegged.

The troupes are rallying to save saint Jim, there is no way he can go the distance in this show without showing just what he is really like, and that is not pretty.....

Do you do this with people you are friendly with or people you really don't like? There is quite a difference.

She wasn't wandering over at all. She was doing nothing more than walking past on her way to the house.
