I disagree, it may be ordinary, in that some people don't really think about it so everyone says it...but saying things like 'don't pick up a dwarf', or 'Miley Cyrus spanks a dwarf', are reducing a person to a label. We're talking about a person with a medical condition, not an animal. Why should they be defined by it?
