....except crossing is one of the worst aspects of his game.

Some outlets reporting that a deal has been reached to sign Kevin Wimmer in the summer, although Sky are reporting that the announcement is somewhat premature

http://www1.skysports.com/football/n...ruitment-plans

Would almost certainly seal the exit of either Kaboul, Chiriches or both which I really don't have an issue with I suppose.

The article also says this ..

Quote:
“The club are set for a major assessment of their youth players, with prospects such as Alex Pritchard, Ryan Fredericks and Grant Hall, who are currently out loan, to be given the chance to prove they are worthy of a shot at the first-team, while the likes of Nathan Oduwa, Cristian Ceballos and Harry Winks also feature prominently in their thinking.”

.. as well as mentioning that we've started identifying our summer transfer targets already which is hugely promising news.

This doesn't look good - hope it's not as bad as it looks

Nice - that'll settle some nerves

Kyle Walker really is f*****g brainless sometimes. That whole incident came about because he went to sleep while they attacked down his side.

Kane on a hat trick. Let's hope we can kill the game off in the first half for once. Quite a few players owe us a performance after last week though Walker doesn't seem to have read the memo!

What does Chadli do?

Agree - just hoping it's ok and Hugo just has a gashed leg as they've said. Being Walker though, it'll turn out he's done his cruciates for him ..

About as much as Townsend and in this match at least Eriksen, Bentaleb and Mason.

We've been at least as bad as we were last week and if it weren't for a bit of luck and some last ditch tackles by the defence we could easily be behind.

I see that Townsend had the barefaced cheek to tweet "I've never let my country down" when he inexplicably got an England call up. Pity he can't say the same about his club.

We're far too open down the flanks. Rose is playing well but by him playing so far up the pitch its leaving a huge space for Nugent to exploit . Vertonghen isn't fast enough to cover both LCB and LB and Bentaleb nor Chadli are dropping back deep enough to cover. Leicester will punish us again if we continue like that. Vardy has the beating of Walker because Walker is clueless about his positioning and was caught ball watching for Vardy's goal.

Too much pi$$ing about going on in midfield too, we need to hit kane faster with out through balls,

Agreed. We have a very average side in reality, being carried by Kane, Lloris, and at times Eriksen. Bentaleb and Mason will get better, but most of the rest add little. Of the Bale seven, only Eriksen has given a glimmer of hope.

The manager surely knows this, and has spoken of investment in younger players.

We need some changes, and the manager needs to be given time once he gets the players he wants in (if that happens). Changing managers so often hasn't worked.

There we go, and no surprises. They've been the better side. Our defence and midfield are shambolic. No fight, or determination. Anyone get out muscle us.

We might have got out of jail again. Thank goodness for Harry.

thank goodness for the ref, more like. never a pen IMO.

I just don't see any evidence that Pochettino is actually coaching this team.

That's 2 open goals Chadli has missed today!

On this form, how exactly is Chadli keeping Dembele out of the side?
Deep Purple
21-03-2015
I have to question why Chadli keeps playing. Today should be his last game. He is woeful.

Poch does seem baffled about what most of the players in the squad can do, hence the lack of any real progress, or direction.

He seems to be putting out the same team now, as there are no cup games, but there are too many passengers, and the potential replacements are no better.

We've got much better players than Leicester do, I do know that much. So when we're being outplayed by the worst team in the league on our own patch, is it because we don't have good players, or are they not being coached properly?

The scoreline flatters us greatly

An own goal really does epitomise how lucky we've been today.
Deep Purple
21-03-2015
I think our players are good on the ball, and when not under pressure they can out pass most teams, which is what we do a lot of the time.

It's when we are put under pressure that we don't have the type of player that compete with that.

That is not just under this manager, it's been the last two as well.

We've been very lucky many times to win games, and as I speak, there we go again.

We've had 70% of play yet Leicester have had more shots at goal than us. Defensively we are awful, just hope we don't do anything silly for the last 5 mins and take three fortunate points.

Feeble defending again. Unbelievable.
