My dad has a weird method of watching the teatime quizzes. He likes The Chase and Pointless, so one day he watches The Chase and the next day he watches Pointless! I said "Why don't you record one?" his reply was "I need all my recording space for anything on Andre Rieu!" I just said "Fair enough" and ended the conversation!
Drat the fact that life goes on while i'm not here, I miss all the interesting conversations until they are long over heh. |

I remember you saying a few weeks back that the number of 12/13m plus shows was going up. I think digital viewing has plateaued and decline in viewing of the main channels has slowed down. M
ake the shows and the viewers will come. |

The Voice should most certainly be above 7 million in the overnights this weekend and Samuel is well aware of that. If this were on ITV I'm sure he'd be predicting (at least) 10 million right now.

George gently press pack out, with the musketeers going out Sundays and Waterloo road Wednesdays. I'm guessing it will be aired on Thursdays after hidden kingdoms/silent witness finish. However I hope I'm wrong as George gently belongs on Sunday, like most of bbc1 shows presently!

Indeed, so now a massive show like The Voice is supposed to get just about a million more than All Star Family Fortunes does.
It'll get 8m at least. |

They are already making some more in the spring according to an interview I saw with Laurie Brett earlier in the week.

EE on last night and next Wednesday I just dont get. If they had special episodes or a week of specials then fair enough but it is pretty much just standard episodes. They should just leave it in its normal slot at this stage.

So I was right then EE out of slot does not work - to use one of Robbies favourite words numpties.
Don't walk before you can run. And why can't Waterloo Road just go away? |

6.7m not bad for EE out of slot.
MM didn't profit from WR and Apollo competition. Low 5s quite poor for this once big hitter. Less than 2m ahead of WR! |

Midsomer boosted by the Coro lead-in. We saw just a couple of weeks ago that without that lead-in, it is only capable of around 3.5-4.0million. Also it benefitted from bbc1 not showing mainstream programming from 8.30pm onwards, the OAPs must've flocked to Midsomer in huge numbers.

People just don't know it's on! That said, that's a vast improvement on what they normally get in that slot on weds i believe so nothing to grumble about. |
