He could always watch the Chase on ITV+1 then he wouldn't miss either.

Drat the fact that life goes on while i'm not here, I miss all the interesting conversations until they are long over heh.

I can't remember exactly what I said, but it was the number of 10m + programmes has been going up every year. I think the excuse of natural decline to digital channels is no longer valid. As you say if the programmes are good enough the viewers will come.

Never in a million years would it get anywhere near 10m, 7m is probably an over estimate, people have been watching this nonsense for the previous 2 years why would they suddenly start watching now, Kylie can only attract so many fans of her own you know.

George gently press pack out, with the musketeers going out Sundays and Waterloo road Wednesdays. I'm guessing it will be aired on Thursdays after hidden kingdoms/silent witness finish. However I hope I'm wrong as George gently belongs on Sunday, like most of bbc1 shows presently!

Bang goes next weeks Midsomer murders, EE and Waterloo Road will be pleased since everyone will just assume City will win 6.0

It's series 10 so seems a nice place to end

EE on last night and next Wednesday I just dont get. If they had special episodes or a week of specials then fair enough but it is pretty much just standard episodes. They should just leave it in its normal slot at this stage.

Probably means EE under 7m then.

So I was right then EE out of slot does not work - to use one of Robbies favourite words numpties.

Next week is Carol's cancer storyline and (gulp) sonia's return so it looks more exciting than this week (Jane's return aside it)

EastEnders should get its ratings up and stable before doing extra episodes.

Don't walk before you can run. And why can't Waterloo Road just go away?

6.7m not bad for EE out of slot.

MM didn't profit from WR and Apollo competition. Low 5s quite poor for this once big hitter. Less than 2m ahead of WR!

Thats a similar rating Corrie gets on Sunday opposite Strictly. I just don't think EE works onb Wednesday.

Midsomer boosted by the Coro lead-in. We saw just a couple of weeks ago that without that lead-in, it is only capable of around 3.5-4.0million. Also it benefitted from bbc1 not showing mainstream programming from 8.30pm onwards, the OAPs must've flocked to Midsomer in huge numbers.

That's stating the obvious for any show and definitely any soap... The same happens when Emmerdale or Corrie is on a Sunday.

People just don't know it's on!

That said, that's a vast improvement on what they normally get in that slot on weds i believe so nothing to grumble about.
