I'm thinking more if TXF continues to decline and ITV decide to finish it in 2 years time that Rising Star could replace it.
However, you are right about ITV, they have some decent hits, but in recent years BBC One has overtaken it and they did develop a terrible image in the noughties that they still can't shake off.
